Bob Bradley after match comments
at 03:46 16 Oct 2016

Man, you guys are being awfully harsh on Bob. Has anybody stopped to think that maybe he was giving the vets this one shot to prove that they belong? This was a match they weren't supposed to win anyway and with everybody starting with a clean slate and on equal footing in the eyes of the new manager, THIS was their chance to prove to Bob who still deserves to get minutes, regardless of seniority. In my opinion his squad selection was perfect, now he can tell the players who clearly don't belong on a premiership pitch to fuq off and not hear a word of complaint in return and still have the team backing him. I would expect to see a drastically different lineup next weekend against Watford. Bob's clearly playing a game that a good bunch of you can't even see yet and it's disappointing that just because he didn't win AT ARSENAL his first time out, you all are calling him shite.

Let me rephrase that, Michael Bradley who currently makes £5.7mil a year in MLS which is way more than Swansea could afford for a player that will never take over a match or be the best player on the pitch at any given time.

Your sources are shit... First off it's MICHAEL Bradley, who currently makes £5.7mil a year in MLS which is way more than Swansea could afford but even if they could, he's been heavily linked with AC Milan and I highly doubt that he'd want to put that kind of pressure on himself or his dad. As to Jozy, if it's the same source linking Michael then, enough said.

"He may succeed, he may fail. I hope the latter..."

Whelp, then you can't POSSIBLY call yourself a true supporter if you really hope the latter and not the former in that statement.

Yeah, MLS is pretty much unwatchable for me so I've really only seen Zardes on the international level and even though he might have a decent strike in him, the amount of times he gets himself into a good position only to dribble it directly out of play or immediately turn it over with a poor touch or misguided pass is just too much for me to keep trotting him out there in high leverage situation.

Ask any fan of the USMNT about Zardes and the two things you hear from every single one is he has blistering pace but probably the worst first touch on the planet that is infuriatingly frustrating. His first touch is so prodigiously awful there's even a nice little compilation video on YouTube in dedication of it. The kid has a boot sponsorship with Acme Brick, that's how bad it is.

NBC own the rights to the Premier League in the US and they show every single match live, the ones that don't make the tv lineup on the three or four different NBC channels are all shown live online and on their apps. So anyone in the states that wants to watch every Swansea match will have no problem. NBC actually does a really good job at covering the PL for the US and when something like Bradley's appointment happens, they of course put special emphasis on it and you can be sure that from here on out Swansea matches will be covered and analysed that much more by Rebecca Lowe, Warren Barton, Robbie Mustow and Shaka Hislop come the weekend. It's the same with Fox Sports and the Bundesliga, which they own the rights to. Fox most certainly doesn't have a special contract with Dortmund but ever since Christian Pulisic started making adult footballers look silly, everyone of their matches are featured and they get a ton of extra coverage.

Ha, that's true he does! And my apologies, forgot that no British side has actually made the Confederations Cup so you might not know that it's a proper tournament made up of the six current holders of each of FIFA's confederations championship (The Euros for you), plus the current world cup holders and the host nation of the next world cup. It wasn't just a one-off game that led Bradley to the final. Also, he had two Gold Cup wins under his belt and topped England's group in the world cup. Diminish his achievements all you want, none of those British managers I've repeated over and over who continuously get top jobs have accomplished as much as Bradley has on the international stage alone, much less domestically. No silverware whatsoever to their names collectively but I have a feeling had Allerdyce (before the scandal) or Pardew for example been hired, you all wouldn't mind. Even though they have won absolutely nothing and in reality don't have half the experience or accomplishments as Bradley.

Chris Coleman, of course! That's my fault but my point still stands. Because let's be honest, before Euro 2016, nothing. If Owen Coyle, Tony Pulis, David Moyes, Sam Allerdyce, Martin O'Neill, Mark Hughes and Alan Pardew, who have collectively won F*CK ALL, and making it to the Confederations Cup final after knocking off the number one ranked team in the world who hadn't been beaten in 32, would be the biggest accomplishment on ANY of their cv's, then how the hell could you POSSIBLY say that Bob Bradley isn't "qualified" to manage SWANSEA? This still hasn't been answered and I have a feeling there is no good answer for it.

"Good luck to the guy, I hope he turns into the next Guardiola"

No you don't, you want him to fail just like everyone else who has the same xenophobic views as you so you can say "I told you so!" This whole, "He has no previous experience" line is a joke that is a very poor attempt to cover up your bigotry.

Bradley won the MLS title and US Open Cup (FA Cup equivalent) with a first year team, all in a league that Owen Coyle couldn't even get through one season in before he was run out of town and that guy has been given MANY high profile jobs with no previous experience and absolutely NOTHING to show for them.

Bradley has not only won several international tournaments but also took the USMNT to the final of the Confederations Cup where he ended Spain's 32 match unbeaten streak in the semi-final before losing to Brazil 4-2 in the final, both of those teams were at full strength. When was the last time a British manager made it to the semi-final of an international tournament, much less the final?

Bradley took Stabaek from newly promoted to THIRD in the Tippenleague and qualification for Europe. That's not nothing!

"In 13 years he has only spent more than 3 seasons at a club once"

That's not true, he spent 5 years with the Chicago fire. I know it's just MLS but they were in their first year as a team when he came on and won the league title AND the U.S. Open Cup (think FA Cup) in the first year. Other than that Chicago team, in the 23 year history of MLS no other team has won any kind of silverware in their first year period, much less the title. Dismiss him and his past accomplishments all you want, but the fact is every place he has ever been he has been a resounding success and that's immeasurably more than you can say for three out of the past four managers you've had, who didn't even have more than 3 years of managing experience between them, much less all at the same club.

Oh oh, I can play this game too! Were he not American and let's say he was born Spanish or Italian, you're exactly right, he would be nowhere near your club because he'd have his pick of the bunch at this point in his career having been given every opportunity up to now to prove his worth on bigger stages that simply isn't afforded to American coaches.

If Sir Alex is the only one you can put forth then there you go. Nobody would be complaining with Harry or Big Sam or Pulis or (insert British manager here who has done nothing of note but flounder in the prem). I'm sorry that you all don't want to acknowledge that you're a bunch of anti-American bigots but your comments speak loud and clear.

Chris Coleman has never qualified for a World Cup and never even come close to defeating the number one ranked team in the world in a tournament like Bradley has. Nice try, but if that's all you got then my point runs even louder.

This would hold true if half the posts on here weren't slating Americans, but sadly the are. Good for all of those other nationalities that you're accepting of, you are completely BIGOTED towards Americans and for you to try to defend that is even more disgusting. Say whatever you want to make yourself feel better but the fact is it's because he's American. Name one British manager that has accomplished more than Bob Bradley in the past twenty years internationally or domestically that deserves this job over him, I'll wait...

Who did Klopp earn his stripes with before getting a top job at a Bundesliga side in Mainz? What were Pep's managing credentials before leading Barcelona? Who did Mourinho have on his cv as a manager before being given one of the top teams in Europe at Porto? The answer to every single one of those questions is NO ONE! They had absolutely no top tier managerial experience before making the big time, why is that all of the sudden an issue? It's because you are all bigots and the fact that Bradley is American doesn't sit well. It's like you're all are rooting for him to fail because your bigotry means more than anything else and that's disgusting. Sorry excuse for human beings, bigoted and hate filled.
