| Your Report | Southampton v Liverpool Your Report added at 18:51:08 American Saint, don’t worry what the s***bag scousers think - our penalty was definite &, IMHO, we should have had 1 in the 2nd half when Kelleher took out Armstrong, & maybe another in the 1st half as well, but I bet they didn’t mention that….. |
| Your Report | Southampton v Leicester City Your Report added at 20:30:26 As poor as the ref was (up there with 1 of the most inconsistent refereeing performances seen at St Mary’s) Martin’s performance was also appalling - his substitutions, and tactics in the 2nd half, all were unfathomable, and he has probably now lost his job, whether that happens rapidly or in the not too distant future….. |
| Your Report | Cardiff City v Southampton Your Report added at 17:48:29 If I did my job as badly as A Armstrong and Adams did I would expect be disciplined for poor performance but, hey, I’m sure they’ll just smile & wave and get on with it….. |
| Your Report | Southampton v Rotherham United Your Report added at 18:51:36 Why go for more goals when we can pass it around another 10, 20, 50, 100 times, what’s the worst that can happen….oh shit….. Another tactical masterclass from RM - why stick to a winning formula when you have your own agenda? Make no mistake, this is an awful result, not taking anything away from Rotherham who deserved the point they earned. |
| Your Report | Southampton v Manchester United Your Report added at 17:44:07 Was definitely at a different game to I_Would because I thought Saints were superb - all deserving of at least 8 out of 10, except Mo El who was probably a 7.5 out of 10. The reality is the so called big 6 teams should be smashing us but today showed that there is still hope for teams like us yet as long as we put in the hard work & commit. IMO Manure we’re lucky to get anything today, let alone win - we were by far the better team. |
| Your Report | Southampton v Brighton and Hove Albion Your Report added at 17:52:31 Not a lot the optimists amongst us can take from this game-we deservedly lost against an average team (which probably tells you where Saints are at the moment) & were outplayed and out thought tactically. |
| Your Report | Southampton v Chelsea Your Report added at 18:30:38 Well deserved point in our best performance since beating Arsenal 1-0. Chelsea never looked like hurting us, and so they didn’t. Djenepo was immense and credit where credit’s due because I am far from his biggest fan but Redmond was good today, probably his best showing this season. And let’s not beat around the bush about this, if those 2 tackles in the 1st half had been committed by Saints players we would’ve been down to 9. Apparently they were accidental-the 1st 1 probably was but Kante’s wasn’t-so that makes it alright.... |
| Your Report | Oldham Athletic v Salford City Your Report added at 17:58:48 What a puzzling day! Puzzling team selection, puzzling pedestrian performance, puzzling substitutions (unless there were injuries) & tactics thereafter & most puzzling of all were the sleepy performances of Bednarek, Stephens & McCarthy-it was as though all 3 had been slipped something pre match! Talking of McCarthy he had a horrible 1st half in everything he did or didn’t do, & the decisions he did or didn’t make, everything was wrong. And I’m a fan who thinks he’s the best goalkeeper we have on our books. |
| Your Report | Oldham Athletic v Salford City Your Report added at 17:36:25 Surely all 10 out of 10, even the subs-what a result & performance, especially after going 1 down-we smashed ‘em. Also fair play to ref Mason as well who is surely 1 of the most hated refs around-if I was marking him at half time I’d have given him 1 out of 10 just for turning up but he was a lot better in the 2nd. & finally a word for our “friends†from Leicester-what a bunch of w@&*ers they’ve turned into-I was quick enough to praise their support during their seasons when they avoided relegation & then won the league but they’ve gone completely the other way-well done to my fellow Saints fans their today in not rising to the provocation. |
