How many times Swansea players fell on the ground painfully holding their bellies? |

The korean at fault again on our right side: walking like a tortoise, did nothing to close down the Swansea player who placed the ball in our box |

The problem is: is Kelman willing to stay with QPR or looking for a move as he is the top scorer in League One, he is not short of offers elsewhere and his contract with us is not a long one. |

With Field and Paal injured, and we are 90% safe, there can be some change in formation: 3-4-3 Nardi in goal 3 CBs Morrison Edwards Fox 2CM Varane Colback 2 Wingbacks Smyth Saito The best attacking defender Jimmy Dunne as the striker with Bennie and Madsen behind him. (or if you still don’t trust Madsen, Dembele instead) This formation allows the shift to 4-2-3-1 when required : Nardi Dunne Morrison Edwards Fox Varane Colback Smyth Madsen Saito Bennie Then we have Kolli, Dembele, Yang, Morgan and Sutton on the bench. |

Was Marti injured or suspended? He’s not even on the bench. Why did Calm make both the pre-match and after-match interviews? |

We pressed and dominated the high positioning Norwich for most of the game and won by three goals. While poorly performed in the first half vs free falling Oxford and won two goals. Today’s poor performance is another evidence. The difference is Morgan vs Field. Impression is: Morgan brings attacking football, Field brings passive defensive play. So I still prefer Morgan over Field. [Post edited 14 Dec 2024 15:48]

People should realise that when we attack, the opponent has to defend, and vice versa. There is only one team attacking and the other defending at a certain moment. When one team has an attacking mindset and emphasises on attacking, there will be less pressure/need for defending. All depends on what the team wants to do. Would you prefer an attacking player or a defensive player make the MOM? One more factor is: the footballing skills and brains of Varane and Morgan will become better and better with more game time while Field won’t improve significantly at his age. Though young and inexperienced, Varane and Morgan were making a big difference by more willing to carry the ball forward and making forward passes. While Field will 90% making backward passes or sideway passes if he is on the pitch. With such a negative style of play, it will definitely slow down the team’s overall movement and bring pressure to the defence or even creates chaos in our own half by inviting opponents immediate attack. This passive mindset was one of the major reasons for the team’s low confidence to move forward and lack of attacking threat (toothless) for the last few months. Varane and Morgan are the better midfielder combination for our success and very good saleable asset prospects by giving them more playing time. Field is a good defensive player when we need to see out a game. |
