There is a real appetite here in Saudi to improve the quality of the league, and they have the cash to support a continuous quality drive.
The grounds / pitches, are not at the level that these players are used to, its not like the stadiums in Qatar world Cup quality. If the investment in infrastructure comes it will be a different level.
1.5 hours away from Dubai on a plane (Private Jet) these players love the Dubai lifestyle
Saudi is changing, this is not going away. The people are very knowledgeable on the western players and game, this will become a threat to the Premiership.
What is happening is a very tiny part of a plan, in 5 years time we will be watching the Saudi League as we do the Spanish, and Italian.
I have lived in Riyadh for 15 years there is great excitement over what is happening and its not going to go away. |

Thought it was a much better game without VAR maybe because the was nothing to controversial ?
VAR has been killing games in the PREM due to over critical decisions, offsides by a nasal hair, going to enjoy the season without it. |

Salisu appears to be settling in well finding his feet and starting to look the part so let’s see how they do in next game against teams we need to beat. I reckon the result against UTD will do wonders for confidence |
