Can I just ask for all those that booed at half time and at the end to go off and do whatever they were doing when we were In league 1. Loved the spirit o f the supporters back then, always behind the team and pushing them on, regardless. |

Agree with everything here but am I only one that thought Clasie was as poor s Romy was good? He gave the ball away too often and although he worked hard and harried, didn't win it enough either. |

I don't think playing the French National anthem is jingoistic? This is about solidarity, nothing more. It could easily have happened to our people and this gesture means we stand together. It also does not matter what La Marseillaise stands for, it is the French National anthem and something we can use to demonstrate that we share the same ideals and beliefs as citizens.
I don't think many will join in singing it but they don't need to. |

I think this article is good and SHOULD have been said.
The last time Bournemouth came to SMS some of their supporters were pretty vile, calling us Scummers and trying to kick off. They were greeted with bewilderment and mild amusement.
It would be great to have these games in an atmosphere of friendly banter and I agree most Saints fans will be rooting for them in every game except when they play us.
Pompey of course, is a completely different situation!
