Ticket Office Problem
at 14:18 3 Jan 2020

Update- Ticket office called me to say they had seen some posts on social media and although it's against protocol they will offer me the ticket free of charge.

Although they do not wish to let this be a known public policy and is against normal protocol.

Result. Up the Saints

Thanks everyone, i have emailed the support liaison but no reply.

The Twitter account replied to me and sent their condolences and said they are looking into it.

Its nice to know the club tries to make money even out of its fans passing away.

Sadly not, over 60 tickets flash a different colour on the way in so it's obvious its not my ticket. This stops people using kids tickets. But ill have to chance it.

Ticket Office Problem
at 06:08 3 Jan 2020

My Father passed away last year having been a lifelong season ticket holder.
As he was a over 65 ticket, i contacted the ticket office to ask if i could have it transferred to me for the remaining games.

They have said i would need to pay in order to upgrade it to a full adult ticket, or It will remain empty. Furthermore, it hasn't even been used since the start of the season and will be unable to get a refund.

Any ideas where to go from here?

It just shows how far the Labour party, and mainstream politics in general, has shifted to the right. Anything that isn't the extreme free market, capitalism-on-steroids that is seen as the 'centre ground' nowadays is mocked and dressed up as radically left wing.

Labour are terrified someone with traditional Labour views might become leader.
But if labour can't even oppose the disaster of the privatisation of the power sector and railways etc then whats the point of the Labour Party?

This. If you genuinely believe any other reason you are naïve.

If we had offered Toby another 20k a week more than Spurs did im sure he would have signed for us. If spurs had offered Morgan 150k a week he would have signed for them.

Money is the only factor.

Only exception to this is if your around 29/30 then you might pick whoever gives you the longest contract, e.g James Milner.

I think perhaps one of the reasons we are struggling is the lack of English spine in the side. If we could get Terry that would be an excellent signing not just for the first 11 but the whole squad to learn from him. Also I think we could do far worse than signing Barton, he would be the perfect replacement for Morgan and someone who could sit and protect the back four and stop these counter attacks.

Football fans are allowed to drink in the stands in the continent. We are banned from doing so in England because nobody has any balls in Westminster. Same with terracing

Anyone else see the logic in selecting 3 left backs? Me neither

Quite amusing how the new guy up front Berahino has scored more goals this season (7) than the other three strikers combined.

Hard to go wrong with a pair of Crocs- Versatile, stylish and above all else comfortable. Team them with a pair of Lonsdale 3/4 lengths for a simple yet smart look.

If we don't win I think its pretty much season over and we may as well start preparing for the championship.

He thinks he is a centre mid now, so who would you nudge out of the team to fit him in? morgan or wanyama? JWP?

Toure must be gearing himself up for a season on the bench then.

Anyone else heard the Gallagher to Madrid rumour?

Jenkinson isn't fit to lace Clyne's boots. Happy to bring in a cheap free agent as cover for Clyne.

The continued popularity of the premiership is just down to excellent and continued marketing. It doesn't have the best players, it doesn't have the best atmospheres (most games soulless and sometimes half empty) and I don't buy how it is exciting, only two teams stand a chance of winning it next year.

While the current status quo is how it is then top 10 is as good as we can hope for. Until a serious attempt is made to level the playing field through things such as wage caps, squad limits and effective controls on foreign players, that is all we can hope to achieve.

What lessons did we learn from selling Walcott and Chamberlain? Chamberlain certainly wouldn't fetch more than 15 million now. 12 million for a 16 year old championship Walcott seems like a good deal too, I can't imagine hes worth more than that.

Lets not forget that Bale did so well at spurs initially they tried to flog him onto forest for a pittance, if they had done then 6 million or however much we got for him would seem like a far better deal.

Your example doesn't really hold up. If your on 20,000 a year and you get offered 80,000 a year, you will obviously jump at the chance as you will be able to buy a new car, new house etc.
Lallana is on £45,000 per week, if he was on say, £90,000 per week, would he be able to do anything he currently cannot afford to do? No.
