A lot i think depends on the set up. If No Varane then at least 2 - 0. If Yang plays 0-5 , If Yang and Madsen play i will lose count. If he choses a pragmatic team who close down and hassle all day you never know 1- 1. |

Whatever do not play Yang. He is in the Madsen class. He was the start of the reason for 2 goal and if you watch him his positional play is shocking. Personally i wouldn't even have him on the bench. Another pup. |

Take on board earlier comment re Madsen but if the club take on a 6 ft 4 person they should check he is not a scarey cat. Whoever said he is the one for us should be shot. I honestly don't think he would survive in League 2. Nor will Yang. What were Spurs doing? You can watch Edwards and know he is quality in the same way you can watch Yang and know he is way off it. Martin comments last night were extraordinary. He should of apologised to the 400 fans who went up to Boro. The performance was truly awful |

It is not so much the losing that hurts as the manner of it. We were third to everything last night. If people think we are clear of relegation i would not make that assumption. There really were some dreadful displays last night. What is the deal with Spurs ? Do we have to play Yang as he would struggle to get into Chorley Town 2nds . Positioning all wrong, weak and makes errors in dangerous parts of the pitch. If he ever appears for Spurs i will be amazed. Can someone please tell the club that big fast blokes are what are need in the championship and the constant signing of midgets seems to suggest someone has a fear of gigantasophobia. If anyone debated the impact of Field now you know what a difference he makes. Travelling all those miles to watch players not really caring is very annoying. The club need to get contracts signed with players who are due to leave at the end of the season if they want to keep them. By stalling it just means the player is looking to pastures new and doesn't want an injury. Watching last night i came away thinking we have a serious problem and Marti with his demeanour did not disagree. The side is too small, too slow and frankly seemingly in many cases not trying. If Madsen is trying then i cannot think why we signed him. He is scared and in the Championship being a chicken is going to mean you fail. If you use Frey up front you have to get balls into the box. Yang is clearly not a footballer , Kaito comes and goes but overall is very weak and often badly positioned and Smyth seems to have lost impetus and again his ability to cross a ball. It really was a dreadful performance. Boro were so much better with half there team injured i just hope some of our players are embarrassed and please no more thank you to the fans etc. Try , that will be enough for me. |

Mart he was relaxed about it. He understood all the frustration [ he was pretty frustrated himself!] but emphasised that one way out of it was for the crowd to help players whose form has dropped. I am as guilty as anybody for being cross with players but i think the reaction of the players last night to when Celar scored reminded me of the human element here and going forward i will try to be a little less harsh and a bit more supportive. |
 | Forum Thread | A conversation with Lee Hoos at 07:54 28 Nov 2024
I had the opportunity this week of a discussion with Lee Hoos prior to the Cardiff game who I have to say was very open and as a person very impressive. I have no doubt he has the club’s best interests at heart. My conversation was respectful but also quite direct. I said that the fans were still in support of Marti but felt that Nourry had not done well on recruitment and if there was a lamb for the slaughter the general feeling around me in the Upper Loft was it had to be him with maybe Belk to follow. I was also scathing about Celar but at the same time concerned for his welfare. It can’t be easy having 10000 plus people giving you a hard time. This was before his tremendous evening! Firstly Marti was a part of the recruitment process , nothing was thrust on him with regard to the first team. He was not however involved in the recruitment of development players . Having said that Marti has liked the look of Morgan and Bennie and has upgraded them. Lee also pointed out that Nourry was heavily involved in the January signings which made a significant positive impact. With regard to Celar he apparently is really good in training but his confidence is very low. Lees view was that as a crowd we should try to help him rather than chastise him. He appreciated this can be difficult but he could not emphasise enough the effect the crowd has on moral. I have been guilty of the being exasperated with a couple of players - Celar, Madson and Anderson especially!- but I hear that they are trying their best and cheer rather than a jeer may be of greater help. Lee was open to a suggestion that someone , maybe Paul Morrisey should provide an update as to the process and where we sit as a club at the moment. If he can do this I think it would be very helpful. Overall I have to say a lot of my faith was restored [ doesn’t mean we are not on trouble but I do believe people care a lot] and Lee really could not of been nicer or more willing. It will certainly be helpful if Paul can provide a statement and let us hope this happens. I guess despite perhaps thinking otherwise my impression is that everyone is pulling together and it is not an us or them. Regardless of what happens it was important to me to have a true sense that people cared. Also that Marti did not have players imposed on him was good to know. |

i wrote it before and i write it again. Just send an email to Hoos. It is very simple, takes no effort and if you crowd his in box he will have to notice. lee.hoos@qpr.co.uk |

Has there been a worse striker in a QPR shirt? The man is absolutely useless. We have had some poor strikers but i really think he is amongst the worst. I feel sorry for him. He should not have been bought. It is lamb to the slaughter. He is probably trying his best but his best is League 2 and not his fault. Nourry and Belk or whoever are to blame for him. |

Which sums up QPR. They give the penalty to a person who is devoid of confidence plus is useless. Really just sums it up. If Marti says he should take the penalty he has a lot to answer for. Someone with the iq of a plant would know he was not the person. He cant even hit the target from that range. Who bought this guy? |

 | Forum Thread | Nourry action....again at 14:11 17 Nov 2024
I think a lot of people think he is the wrong person for the job and would like to take some action to highlight this. I appreciate it will not change things in the short term but having him in charge of transfers in January sounds a disaster to me. My suggestion , which is very simple, is everyone who wants sends an email to Lee Hoos <lee.hoos@qpr.co.uk> simply telling him that Nourry should go. If people pass it to other boards and one gets a large number of people writing in , at least the club will know the supporters view. Despite what people say large numbers of opinions do have an effect.Plus if Hoos gets a thousand emails he will know as his computer will be filled with the opinion! |

Ultimately it always comes back to the owners. What on earth is Ruben doing? Is he totally disinterested or stupid? If neither then he should for the first time actually do something sensible. Sack Nourry and Belk now and tell Hoos to go at the end of the season. Reading thru all the posts who actually disagrees with this? I really think noone so what is wrong with Ruben? Nice guy and totally gullible and if not frankly stupid. Of course Nourry will stay. He clearly had achieved very little historically so he is now on a nice number. Ditto for Belk who seldom leaves Loftus Road to assess a player. Everything is down to Ruben and that is our fundamental problem. He is clueless and unable to actually see that he is a sucker. Generous with his money maybe but along with Fernandes the destroyers of QPR due to what can only be described as total incompetence and a real ability to be taken for a ride. |
 | Forum Reply | Is anyone else a bit done? at 10:56 10 Nov 2024
I wrote here a month or so back that I was stopping going and after 50 years and 30 years of holding 2 season tickets I can tell you it has been a pleasant experience. I still follow the results and do the odd post but I am already much less tense and can shake off a result by 530. And for what it is worth my annoyance is not with the players but with those who bought them in. Rueben is clearly spineless and easily conned. Hoos, Belk and especially Nourry are a combination of poor to uninterested. Rueben owns the club ,it is up to him to sort it. Not bringing back Allen and taking Nourry instead was just ridiculous as can be highlighted by the summer signings at Millwall and ourselves. And for those who think we will bounce back from League 1 are I think in dreamland. Something like Charlton is more likely. Useless owners equals useless football club. Frankly I'd rather the owners put the club into admin and see what happens. Otherwise I think next season with this lot and we will be looking more at League 2. |
 | Forum Thread | What I don't understand at 18:57 9 Nov 2024
Rueben is putting in £2m a month, he can see that everything he has done has failed. He must be able to see that those he has put in charge of running 'the business' have failed. All of that is blatantly obvious. The question is why does he continue to rely on this team of people when clearly to a person they have failed individually and in their appointments. But still he persists. He allows for a 26 year old who is clueless clearly to come in. Who on earth in their right mind would allow that to happen. He can see surely we are shocking, he can ,if he botherseasily guage where the fans think we are. But still he does nothing. His management team have totally failed but he just sits there. Honestly what does he think he is doing. Beyond me. |
 | Forum Reply | Mark Robins at 13:57 7 Nov 2024
The principle is something has to change. We haven't won at home this season , the fans are pissed off. I simply don't think things can stay as they are. New manager a win and the attitude shifts |
 | Forum Reply | Mark Robins at 13:55 7 Nov 2024
And to me that last comment reflects the general feeling around the club currently. I share it and that has to change. I can't see Nourry giving up. His ego appears pretty massive, 12 years of experience etc so we need change and someone has to go |
 | Forum Thread | Mark Robins at 13:39 7 Nov 2024
I am sure this will be unpopular but on reading thru all the comments on this site I do not think it unfair to say the majority of fans have or are losing faith in the senior management and the players. Something has to change or you will end up with fan v players ie Jimmy Dunne the other night. If Nourry and others won't leave and it should be them , Marti is the only other option. Again I don't think it is unfair to say he does not appear to know what to do next and is floundering. Mark Robins is a proven Championship manager and whilst I see all the arguments for not changing manager it is also true to say 99% of people on this site think with some certainty that we will be relegated with the current set up. We can't the players, those in charge refuse to acknowledge their incompetence which leaves only one fall guy |
 | Forum Reply | Nourry should walk. at 09:31 7 Nov 2024
It is all up to Rueben. I simply cannot understand why he does not do something. None of us are geniuses ( well most at least!) but the problem is obvious, those running the club have created this mess and to be replaced. It really isn't rocket science. You only have to look at our signings and know most of them will struggle next year in League 1. Frankly I would be fine if Rueben put the club into administration, we dropped 10 points ,got a new owner who could buy the club for very little given our monthly losses and start again in Lesgue 1. I have said for over 5 years now that unless Rueben wakes up or gives up the club will end up at best lower league1. Uxbridge r used to give me stick but would be interested to hear his views now. Not gloating but he was always optimistic |
 | Forum Thread | Kevin Mcgrath at 15:04 6 Nov 2024
Kevin has been around the club all his life. When we were in admin he was the one as Chairman who was the driving force behind our survival. He was Chair of the ladies and is a trustee of the community Trust. He was prior to semi retirement also a seriously success business man. On top of all that he is an extremely nice person who dedicates his life to a lot of charities. It is my view that he needs to be bought into a very senior role in order to sort out the organisational mess that just seems to go on regardless. I also believe he knows Rueben quite well. The club needs someone with his credentials who has a very long term proven track record in business and football. I think we as fans need to bring pressure on the club to consider this option. And yes I have known Kevin for many years and can vouch for the truth of all the above. All I need is people on this board to agree with the principle and I will then bring the sentiment to the notice of the club. If anyone is on other boards I would appreciate if you could repost this thread. Thanks |
