tbh Unless we were getting promoted or playoffs I've never expected him to be here beyond this season anyway and I would suspect if he does and we do go well he will be poached anyway. Would also be the case if I was Dunne for example I would be waiting to see if Marti is staying before committing to a contract.
In terms of the comments they can mean anything, we know Smyth and Cook are still carrying injuries, he's got no forwards, no centre mids. When we have had a full squad we've done well. There could be issues with certain players behind the scenes that we will never know or will only come out in years to come |

Not when its 3 v 2, when Field plays LCM he will come across, Colback did it better in the last 20 minutes of the game than he had been doing earlier |

There has been some speculation about this, but I think for the 3rd game now he has come off in the 60th minute and clearly must be playing with injections.
2nd half yesterday it was really noticeable you could see in his running gait and jumping from about minute 50 on that he is carrying and putting more weight on the other leg.
Really not sure who this is benefiting. Granted yesterday his best game since returning but we can play Morrison there, and have a fully fit Cook for the last few games |

Not sure I agree, time and time again Leeds got in down our left and 3 v 2 with Colback late to the party with him being the LCM. I think he had a very good last 20 minutes mind you |

Agree with most on this thread a really good disciplined effort and probably a lot you could not see if you were watching on the video. At the time I thought the goal was offside (as did the ref!) but having watched it back the linesman got it spot on. Same for the Saito sending off, he was diving to get the trip and take the yellow but his foot bounced of the turf so studs up on the back of the calf so its sadly a red, and I hope Paal has apologised for putting him that situation with his ridiculous free kick. Edwards I think MOTM, really good games from Smyth, Saito, Dunne, Frey and Anderson
Other results have put has back in the relegation fight, but the worst fixtures are out of the way now bar Burnley. |

Bags of enthusiasm, energy and a bit of pace. Touch, balance, heading and positioning / game intelligence well off.
Really likeable lad making the best of what he has got, but is going to have to work doubly hard to make up for the lack of football education to be a late bloomer that rises above being a championship sub or league 1/2 level |

I would suggest we were the better team first half. In Frey and Kolli we have better strikers than we have had for years, but if you take them out it's very difficult to create clear cut chances. Yes we know Lloyd looks like he will trip over his laces, he can cause a bit of chaos, but his positioning and movement yesterday was really awful. There was one when Dunne won the ball headed it across the six yard box for a simple tap in and Lloyd was in front of the ball absolutely criminal.
The movement of the strikers is a huge part of creating clear cut chances, it's why Dykes never seemed to get opportunities. Frey and Kolli both have that (Kolli in spades).
As we have said for a number of seasons our 1st choice 11 or 15 is good enough but we dont have depth to cope with injuries especially to top 6 sides |

Lloyd apparently carrying a groin strain as well. We did ok with what we had, against ten men you really want two strikers on the pitch to aim for we barely had half of one. Dont get the criticism of Chair put in a number of dangerous balls and dont get the criticism of Yang given we were playing against a low block I dont actually see what Smyth would have brought to the party. Seem to have a lot of injuries again at a time where we have the most ridiculous difficult fixture list |

Our two defensive midfielders out, Captain Cook in dire form and 4th choice centre forward who would be getting it ripped out of him in a Sunday league B team for that performance.
Bottom line is that in this current squad we cannot carry injuries to key players especially when playing top 6 teams |

I think we saw in that last 45 minutes why Lloyd did not start as bad a half as I can remember from a striker especially given we were camped in their half. Kolli cannot come back quick enough just to bring some smart movement and goal threat
Very very difficult to beat a low block without a striker. I think we saw today how important Field and Varane are to this team. Colback has yet again cost us a game when he was supposed to be the midfield leader.
Not sure why people are giving Marti stick, no point keeping Smyth on if the opposition are camped deep |

Strange half neither side playing particularly well and cancelling each other out, and as night follows day, Colback the thickest footballer we've had for sometime, stupid pull back not in danger, soft penalty and they are up. Harsh red for Furlong in my view but we know how crap we are against 10 men or a low block
Morgan and Cook having absolute stinkers again. It's going to be a long few weeks if Varane and Field are both out.
Really need to get Kolli fit I think we've missed him a lot of the last month or so |

At least two ex-KGB have said old "Krasnov" was targeted and recruited in the 80's. I think the truth is he is easily bought as are many others and not just by the Russians. Aint going to be any impeachment, and I doubt there will be any mid-terms either |

I thought Sheff Utd were easily the best team we've come up against this season, I don't see one of our players starting for them bar maybe Jimmy. They have the best keeper in the league the best midfield, a ridiculous bench.
I thought the 1st Nardi has to come for and punch. The 2nd Colback has to do better after Edwards header but is a bit of a worldy.
We were competitive should have been level at half time and had a right go at them. But we are not at that level, and probably deserved a point, and would have had it if Morgan had passed rather than shot at the end of 1st half.
Officials were very poor, never a pen and Shef Utd should have been. down to 10 |

Always worth reminding that Ukraine had nuclear weapons and gave them up in the 90s on the basis of a security guarentees deal to protect her signed by the US and the West. Which they have failed to honour.
Putin does not believe Ukraine has the right to exist, or Moldova or a number of other eastern European countries. |

Buy a £20 kit off amazon and chuck it in the car. GB badge and headlight deflectors on older cars are mandatory. Driven many times never been pulled over or even seen anyone pulled over. Tolls are all tags or contactless cards now |

Unpopular opinion I know, but I think Morgan has been pretty ineffective post Xmas before and after Chair moving inside and can understand why they pulled him out. I also think Cook has been pretty poor since his return particularly with his passing We were not helped with having to pull Smyth deep to cover Dunne who was getting exposed, and the constant ping pong of direct long balls from both sides which was to fast for either Varane or Frey to cope with. |

I do think we get too hung up on transfer fees at times, the cost of a player to the club is transfer fee + Signing on fee + agent fee + wages when the player is out of contract but in demand the last 3 can easily out weigh a transfer fee. The accountants I'm sure can also explain how transfer fees can be spread across a number of years in the accounts and the role amortisation plays as well. |
