Went home to see my family after the game on saturday, so spent Sunday in Norfolk and then went to Stamford on Monday. Lovely weather on the sunday but Monday was atrocious! |

Completely agree, Wiz. In seasons past we would have expected to win tonight against a newly promoted team. But, with our piss poor pre-season preparation, this will be really difficult. The fans need to be on top form and need to get behind the lads to cheer them on to victory. Jose says he appreciates the support and i'm sure the players do too. UP THE POOL! 6 points by Saturday evening. |

A couple of us getting the 09:44 to Wigan on Saturday - arriving into Pie Town at 11.23.
May stop off in Manchester on the way back for a few beers and a bite to eat before coming back to Leeds.

Can never really decide what is better 7.45 or 8pm. 8pm starts allowed us exiles a sometimes vital extra 20 minutes to get there but then getting back at nearly midnight (particularly if Man Utd at home in Champs League) was a bit of a drag. At least this way should definitely be back in Leeds by 11.30 (hopefully 11pm depending on traffic) but getting across in rush hour traffic might be difficult! |

Not a "wow" signing, but we're never going to make one are we? 16 goals in a season is not to be sniffed at. He knows where the back of the net is, hopefully he can carry it on for us.

My view of the game was along those lines too.
We were reasonably solid, they failed to really create anything other than the chances they scored - one came back off the post and left Lewis in no man's land, the other was a good shot. We didn't have many chances ourselves but if Orlandi's shot, which was similar to their second goal, had fallen the right side of the post it would have been an interesting last 30 minutes or so. We'll improve. |
