Merry Christmas my R’s – Preview
at 17:38 25 Dec 2025

No idea what will happen tomorrow, which QPR will turn up, whether the curse will continue, but on a longer scale I am genuinely positive. This manager had turned me around, I think tactically he is astute and pragmatic. We have the players for a 442 and it seems to throw most teams we play. We also have real characters:
Burrell, Mbuenge, Kone, Dunne, a proper Rangers side. I'm sticking my neck out and predicting we will finish top six, beyond that the Gods will decide. But let's enjoy the good times, and let them roll.

Saw loads of bobbies running towards the Springbok (or whatever it is now called) after the game and there seemed to be some kind of kerfuffle inside. Anyone know what was happening?

Andy Evans retiring
at 21:06 18 Dec 2025

Andy has been the soul of this club, often on his own. Local boy who done brilliantly and never, for one moment forget his roots. Our response to Grenfell was all down to Andy, our fantastic community contribution all down to Andy. We will miss him terribly but I know he will be here, he is the essence of one of our own. Enjoy your retirement my old mucker and come on you R's.

I confronted David Seamen after Arsenal away. He was getting into his Porsche and I called him Judas. He said "Do you want to see my medals?"

A Morgasm – Report
at 22:33 10 Dec 2025

We are currently blessed by a decent, lovable team, but even more by the best football writer in the land. Clive is one of the few who can combine football with all the other reasons we go, all the ghosts and the fears and the joys. I missed last night, in Paris in a fancy restaurant, wishing I was scraping my knees and hugging my son in Shepherd's Bush on one of those nights. I wasn't there, but you just made me feel actually feel like I was. Thank you Sir.

Goalscorer!!
at 20:32 6 Dec 2025

Burrell could be the signing of the season, or any season, remarkable energy, focused pressing, non stop running and scores goals, lots of goals. In the second half Kone seemed to me today to finally work out what his role is in that slightly withdrawn position, good hold up play, bossing defenders, creating chances. But Dembele, Saito and particularly Smyth all frustrate, Smyth has to stop falling over every time a player comes near him, he won't get anything from a sane and suss ref because it is so obvious. All three have talent but squander it in various ways

I would rather watch Rangers at Loftus Road in Division 1 or 2, than somewhere in Royal Oak in the Prem. Long live our cave.

Kevin Gallen - the boy who got to live the dream
at 19:24 24 Nov 2025

When fans sing 'he's one of our own " I am not sure there are many who fit the bill as much as our Kevin. He was the boy they couldn't buy when he scored all those goals in the youths, he was a phenom when he broke though to the first team, he was arguably the best young goalscoring talent in the country until his injury. Despite that he was a part of two great Rangers teams. Still lives and breathes blue and white. Forever our brother in hoops. See Kevin in a pub before an away game and the world is alright.

Hull Reflection

Enjoyable game of football and Chair was immense. Those on here saying we didn't press I think are missing the point. It was clearly intentional to let them pass it around at the back and hold a deeper line just into their half. That means when you you win the ball there's room to run beyond them, which we did on many occasions. The high press is appropriate against some teams, but it was the right decision not to employ it much today.

Sounds like my idea of hell. Give me the Uxbridge Road or the backstreets of the Bush. This week I will eat some Chinese food in a great little Szechuan by the green, maybe some falafel in the market, a pint in the White Horse, perhaps another in the Weld, if I'm up for a schlep it would be the Crown and Thai grub. This is our manor, I've never fancied food or drink in a concourse, plastic glasses and plastic environment. Nah, I'll stick with our cave and
my ancestral homeland.
