Unfortunately the population is not static. It has grown by 10 million since 2000 and is predicted ti grow by 500,000 a year. The population has been growing since Blair allowed freedom of movement and is driven by mass imagination both legal and illegal. |

They are the richest pay the most taxes in a long time. While 5 million people on benefits get it all tax free. No wonder they refuse to work. |

The whole of England and Wales voted to leave the EU. How on earth can any sensible person support someone who calls for mass murder. Wonder if he supported the mass murder of people at a pop concert by the Hamas terrorist? Bet even you can spot the irony of a pop non entity asking the audience to applaud killing fans at a pop concert. |

As everyone knows the more you tax the rich the less total tax you raise. They just leave the country and pay no tax at all. 1000s of non doms have ready left the country. The socialist have never understood that having a bigger share of a smaller cake does not make anyone better off. The economy needs to grow, and we need to attract the wealthy to live in the UK. |

The one who had dual citizenship, freedom off movement anywhere in the EU but preferred to live on UK handouts and blow up women, children other civilians and execute captured soldiers and policemen. Funny how they did not want to move to the paradise of the ROI. |

Most people in Wales want to abolish the Labour run Senedd after the disasters of Drakeford and co over the last 25 years. |

Can see Tan selling. He is already owed £100 million and is not going to write that off when he is getting 7% interest on the debt |

That 50mph restriction on that section never made sense. Drakeford said it was because the road was new and drivers would not be used to it. The latest two sections just opened are also new yet have 70 mph limits. 50mph on a modern dual carriageways is nonsense. The speed limit of part of the single carriageway it replaced use to be 60mph. |

The BBC is run by left wingers. It has been for many years. Just last week a Labour Government minster claimed the majority of illegal immigrants arriving by boats were women and children. Fiona did not challenge this despite the official figures showing that the majority are fit single men. Over the last two years the BBC has steadfastly refused to mention that Hames are TERRORIST. |

They sound just like labour did when they were in opposition. Latest government borrowing out today shows government borrowing, despite huge increases in taxation. Income tax, VAT, NI and Corporation revenues were all up, yet government spending increased by even more. |

Oh dear our economy shrank by 0.3% in April. All the business sectors warned Rachel her £30 billion tax raid on business would hit the economy and growth and lead to job losses. The only sector that grew was construction helped by the very Sunny April. |

Wales needs to exploit it natural resources. Why on earth is the UK importing coal when we have millions of tons of it available. We don't even need to send anyone underground open cast mining is safe, yet Drakeford and co closed down our last open cast site. |

Time we had National Identity cards. Only people with identity cards could FREE NHS treatment the rest would have to pay. It would save billions. |

I can remember when Swansea had two casualties units one at Singleton and one at Morriston. Perhaps if we had two now there would not be the huge queues at Morriston A&E. |
 | Forum Reply | Better-off pensioners to pay for WFA U-turn? at 08:53 10 Jun 2025
Except those on benefits they receive all of them TAX FREE no matter how much they get. A family living on benefits can easily get £25,000 in TAX FREE benefits. Meanwhile those who receive a pension, which is classed as a benefit, will start paying tax the moment their income reaches circa £12,500. |
 | Forum Reply | Better-off pensioners to pay for WFA U-turn? at 08:49 10 Jun 2025
Probably because the pensions were so low back then. Fortunately the triple lock introduced by the nasty Conservatives in 2010 has made sure pensioners are better off. Still the nice Labour part stopped WFA in 2024. |
