I think whichever way you argue it, it adds up to the same thing. |

I'm in Spain ATM and the apartment has a box thing, so after coming back from dinner, we watched the last twenty five minutes. It was scrappy but entertaining as it went from end to end. Just before the end, I said to Mrs FB those very same words as in the O P. Expect Liverpool to win on Friday, when they repeat last night but in the cup. |

I'd like all three to go down and Scottie too. Ultimately though, I'd love to see My Big Fat Greek Owner losing his sh1t on the pitch as he sacks yet another manager. |

I think you've answered your own question.🙄😁 |
 | Forum Reply | Three game week - the modern excuse at 14:09 2 Mar 2026
You're correct on the first it but partly wrong on the second. It's both. We have a disadvantage but we do little to overcome it. |
 | Forum Reply | Three game week - the modern excuse at 09:12 1 Mar 2026
Three game weeks ARE a reality and to argue otherwise is just quibbling over semantics. There is an advantage to the clubs with the money. They have larger squads and bigger, stronger, more athletic and fitter players. They can therefore rotate more, rest tired players and have less need to rush back injured ones. Some clubs without riches manage to overcome some of this and outperform their budget. We cannot seem to do this and with the number of three game weeks, it is holding us back enormously. We were correct to identify this and try and overcome it. However, we have failed to recruit enough bigger, stronger, athletic, fitter players and in our squad management. It must be top of the list when we prepare for next season. |

I hope he doesn't read this, especially the review of his performance in the Swansea game last April. Had me laughing again, |

Subs warming up at HT is very short and then they all going trotting off to the changing rooms. Opponents subs usually out for the whole 15 minutes. What's the thinking there? |

Agree with all that but a question. If you haven't named a complete 25 man squad, is it allowed to pick up out of contract players with no club, outside of the window? |
 | Forum Reply | So ..... team for Saturday ? at 09:39 27 Feb 2026
Take Walsh out for a game or two and let Hamer have a go. We are likely to play Esquerdinha or Adamson, so I would definitely agree with three at the back, Edwards, Dune, Clarke-Salter and wingbacks with Mbengue on the right. Cook to come on for JCS after 45-60 mins. I think Saito and Kone should be given a break on the bench. Morgan, Hayden and Varane in midfield. Vale just behind Kolli up top. I'd be pleasantly surprised if Julian does change from 442. |

Bennie wouldn't have been encouraged to take that shot, on Saturday, by Warburton. |

If you watched the game and their ability, it was self evident that they are a good side. They may not have been earlier in the season but they are much improved. We've had our moments this season and arguably, on our day, with more of our 'favourite players available' we are a good side. |

Sometimes maybe, but other occasions it is difficult to stop your forward momentum when the opponent stops moving. |
