St Mirren got their Premier Sports Cup campaign back on track with a hard-fought win over Forfar Athletic at Station Park.
Mikael Mandron was brought on at half-time and it was another substitute that set him up for what proved to be the winner, as James Scott rolled it into the Frenchman's path to power home from close range.

Maldon & Tiptree vs Colchester United | Jammers TV Pre-Season Matchday Vlog:
As it is the Maldon & Tiptree YouTube page, the beginning of the show is about the changes to their ground and interviews with their players (including former U's Matt Yates, Anthony Wordsworth and Tom Eastman.
Just found this on YouTube and thought it was worth a watch/listen:
Episode 1 – Maldon & Tiptree and Looking Ahead
"In the very first episode of Beyond the Barside, host Aaron Jay kicks things off ahead of Colchester United’s first pre-season fixture with a trip to Maldon & Tiptree.
Aaron is joined by long-time U’s fans Si and Dave to reflect on last season and share their hopes for the campaign ahead. Maldon & Tiptree CEO Barrie also stops by to give insight into the exciting project taking shape at the club. Plus, we hear from Andy and Louise from the Col U women’s setup as they discuss their growing role within the wider U’s family."
He is already signed up - so unless someone comes in with an offer (Barnsley latest team to express an interest), then he is staying for at least 1 more season!
Southend United have offered a new deal to striker Macaulay Bonne, who made 39 appearances for the club, scoring five goals, after joining them on a one-year contract in September.
After Week Two letting nature and the stored water used for the sprinklers work their magic, Head Groundsman Brad Jefferies popped in to discuss the latest on the pitch.
He explained: "Following on from the watering in what was Week Three, we have had a few nice showers which has massively helped the pitch."
"On Monday, (Week Four - starting June 9th), we did the first cut of the pitch with the Honda rotary, using the lighter mower to help consolidate the surface.
"Unfortunately, as this is a small mower, it’s approximately a thirteen mile walk - something I'll have to do again this week with the second cut planned for Thursday."
It already sounds like a busy week, with Brad continuing: "We will then be kicking on with our fertiliser programme. We've applied a granular 12-0-12 at 30 g/sm and we will also be applying our second seed Reno pack spray.
"Then on Friday, we will start our growth regulation sprays using a product called Primo Maxx which will help change the energy of the plant from top growth into tillering out and rooting.
"We manage our primo sprays using a growth degree day model, which takes into account the weather, and we try to predict when the product has been used up by the plant."
