Bazunu made a good save but was rooted to his line all game and gave the defence no help whatsoever. His sticky feet gifted a couple of corners to them. This was no Plan B. Same tactics and formation, just a change in personnel. Eckert has to change it up. |

Like the idea of changing the back 3 and bringing in Edwards and Quarshie. Not sure I agree on Edwards having pace though. Personally. I would like a back 4 with proper full-backs with Fellows, Azaz and Scienza behind the centre-forward. Would keep the opposition pinned back a bit more and we might have players that will actually stop their wingers crossing the ball. And Bazunu has to be dropped/sold/loaned out. Awful keeper who is again, statistically the worst in the league he’s playing in. |

I didn’t like the return to slow ponderous possession football with no purpose. It was a throwback to the bad old days but seems to be the comfort zone for some of our players who don’t seem to have got over the sacking of Martin. I am talking specifically about Baz, THB, Stephens and Manning. My fear is they have too much influence and our inexperienced manager is ill-equipped to deal with them. The next game is huge for Eckert. Another display like Saturday and I think the board will get someone experienced in, which would be my preference. Aribo’s effort on Saturday was poor. He deserved to get chinned in the dressing room afterwards and I hope someone stuck one on him. |

You talk absolute rubbish about Bazunu. He went down in instalments for their goal. Another mistake to go with the one against QPR. He is an absolute liability. |
 | News Comment | Southampton At Queens Park Rangers The Verdict at 11:12:05
Bazunu rock solid. I can no longer take your opinions seriously. He dropped an easy save in front of a forward, gave away a needless corner, conceded a sloppy goal and made one save that was barely head high near the middle of the goal that he made look spectacular. It wasn’t, it was routine. Absolute joke of a write-up. We were pretty poor playing against a pretty poor side. |

Still has to go now. He is an absolute liability and we’re going nowhere under his (lack of) leadership. To leave him in place for any further period of time is merely delaying the inevitable and throwing more points away. |

It shouldn’t even be up for debate, Still has to go. He is arguably the worst manager we have ever had. Time to end this experiment and appoint someone who is not another left-field clever bollocks appointment by the board. |
 | News Comment | Southampton V Swansea City The Verdict at 11:40:03
Agreed Nick. He has to go, totally clueless. The board need to stop appointing managers on the strength of an interview and PowerPoint presentation and look at their history. This was another left-field appointment by a board that always try and make themselves look clever and revolutionary. They are a circus of clowns. Crowds will continue to dwindle with Still in charge. Out of his depth completely. |

It seems to me that the players don’t know how they’re supposed to be playing. That is on Still, he’s had long enough with him. Sadly, I feel the same sense of inevitability of Still’s sacking as I did for Martin’s last year. We left that one far too late to make any difference. I doubt the owners have learned, as they are a bunch of clowns. |

McCarthy, for all his faults, can still stop shots. Quite frankly, anyone who thinks Bazunu should be first-choice is an idiot. |
