He's got that team playing for him, that's clear to see. The players look more confident, and he has got a lot right so far.
Any manager is a gamble - and here we have someone who has made a clear difference to the squad, and has a great attitude and work ethic
Thomas Frank may well be great - but he's not here, and if he arrived in a few weeks - there's no guarantee he turns us around.
Tonda will always be under a little more pressure as he hasn't got the resume of the experienced managers - but he's deserves a bash at it I think. |

He has rightly pointe out the issue- scoring goals. He has to find an away to get us firing.
But he needs a little more time. It's not going to be easy though - I can't see where the goals come from - unless AA finds a bit of form.

Personally, I think you're right, it is just another game for the players, and that's not a bad thing.They need to keep their heads, and we would be the most likely winners if you looked at our squads and being at home.
Really, the day is for us- to show them what it means to us!
We HAVE to win - that's all that matters
I can't wait - the atmosphere will hopefully kick start our season. I'm not contemplating any other outcome!

I am pleased to see fitness is the key driver at the moment.
For too long Saints have looked sluggish and most can’t play 90 mins at full pace. It at all.
The tactical stuff will get tweeked week by week but you can’t start the season looked jaded.
