I've got a framed B&W photo of a goal being scored in the '53 Cup Final, which once adorned the wall at the Old Wembley. Unfortunately, it was a Bolton goal!!
I bought it in the auction, that was done when Wembley closed!! |

I think you are right saying it's a futile gesture. KO won't one jot and the package will end up in the skip!!
Please don't throw away the scarf and shirt. Mark my words, you will regret having done it at some point in the future. I have my first scarf I bought for the 1967-68 season and could not dream of letting it go.
Keep them for when the good times eventually return, ie we win a game!! or at least as a memory for after Pool have withdrawn from the league!! |
