Sadly, this is a shocking indictment on that whole era of the football club. To have even signed that man, let alone make him captain is a stain on the club's reputation. |

I was in the Stan Bowles stand for the Sheff Weds game and someone threw a bottle at a Wednesday player in the second half. It was pretty much ignored by the ref and all the players, which surprised me. Such a brain dead thing to do that will only end in penalising the club and potentially getting you banned from the stadium. |

The (very) late Cantona equaliser that essentially relegated us. I wasn't the only one. A few grown men in tears on The Loft when the final whistle eventually blew. Scarring. |

Agree. I also mean that the road system is broken. Unsafe, inefficient and clearly geared towards extracting fines from motorists rather than safety. |

Nah, their roads are fantastic, a million times better than ours. We drove north to south and back last summer, never hit one traffic jam or issue the whole time.
Worst bits of the trip were exclusively UK side. Our roads are broken.
A good way to avoid being stopped for driving like a tool and fined for not having the required items is to not drive like a tool and have the required items. :) |

Fine margins. One week we get away with the Blackburn handball goal, the next week the Cook shove isn't penalised. At least we're competing these days. A work in progress. |

I seem to recall that his dad played a big part in Les becoming less injury prone by spending a close season with him in the gym. Les came back noticeably more muscular looking and was a lot more robust.
