You've answered your own question in your post. Kelman felt we didn't back him, he had his break out season, and he wanted to move. Because we hadn't planned for that, we had to take the going rate. Wycombe turned down £7m plus for him cos they were gunning for promotion. They didn't make it, iffy start to the season and now they get half that. Transfers are all about timing |

I can't remember cos there was a weird moment where the lino said Chair didn't have the ball on the line properly and Chair threw a massive strop and walked off lol. So I can't remember if it was that one, or the one where he went back and kept chuntering on at the lino |

The thing for me is that's been 5 years, 5 managers (I think) and new players yet we're always so mentally feeble. Bossing the game, concede against the run of play, you should be saying, don't worry, this lot are shite. We go again. Instead they all look like they're gonna commit seppuku in the centre circle. Baffling |

Thought it deserved its own thread. Rohl to leave today. Transfer embargo. Players not been paid and exodus. Council refuse to issue safety certificate for the north stand so no fans allowed this season. Chansiri refusing to sell for less than £100m. Another victory for football administration |

Aus' big problem is without Valentini and Sketlon, they have no physicality. Actually putting Genge, Ryan, Morgan on the bench was a masterstroke cos Lions were able to up the physicality just as Aud lost theirs. Valentini was amaing though. He bounced Porter, Sheehan *and* Curry. Most players would never manage that in their careers, let alone in 40 minutes |

This is like when Uncle Albert said "I wasn't going to say "during the war"!.....During the conflagration between 1939 and 1945...." |

Also funny that everyone's talking about that, and not Sheehan's try which was outrageous that it stood. No point having the jumping the tackle law if a guy is allowed to superman over three tacklers going for the line |

What a cracking test. Letter of the law, Morgan's clearout was illegal, but if get hit on the neck and go down holding your face, you deserve nothing |

So rare to have someone who utterly defined a genre. For most you'd get a range, but if you said "name a heavy metal singer", what, 80 odd percent of people are saying Ozzy right? Essentially organising your own wake with two generations of bands you inspired is just so utterly badass |

I know absolutely nothing about boxing, but was having a mid summer meet up with my Hoops seat mates who convinced me to watch. My god, what an athlete. I was in awe. Dubois didn't even look that bad to me, Usyk's athleticism and skill just looked border preternatural. It's been a long time since I've been so bowled over by a sports person I don't know, but that was absolutely unreal |
