Brentford will face choices if they go up. But what about us? Can't see the owners splashing out, can you? If we'd built for this by keeping our best young players - Rodon, James etc we might have something to go on. But as it is we have no consistent style and a lack of quality. The boys have shown perseverance and done well with what they've got and the manager too, despite the moaning about him, but they'd get murdered in the Prem. |

Got to agree. Potter is still learning his trade but his record suggests he has the makings. Like the kids in the squad he needs time. Chopping and changing managers at this point would be insanity. Where is the messiah who could magically turn this squad into championship contenders? And why would he come to Swansea? Yes some selections have looked strange and GP doesn't appear to know his best team. But he won't know without trying. The squad more than anything needs a dominating defensive midfielder to get a grip and allow Celina and Grimes to play. Fer is inconsistent and Fulton is game but not quite good enough. |

I agree. I'd rather play them in the Prem than play them in the second tier. And the spice isn't there if we don't play them at all. So I hope they stay up, even if they do play anti-football. But I wouldn't bet on it. Burnley will click soon and then Cardiff will be up against it. Still, with the top few Prem teams taking so many points I doubt if 40 will be necessary to survive. 38 should do. |
