A gr-eight for AFC Totton and a great day for the town of Totton.
A gr-eight for AFC Totton and a great day for the town of Totton.

AFC Totton have made all of the headlines in their 1st round FA Cup debut. Totton beat Bradford Park Avenue 8-1 in front of the clubs record attendance of 2315.

This was the biggest score by a non league club in the FA Cup since 1946!

The Stags were sensational, playing the kind of pass and move football that would meet the approval of Saints boss Nigel Adkins. Tottons wide men Jonathon Davies and Mike Gosney were terrific to watch.

Tottons goals came from Jonathon Davies (2), Mike Gosney (2) Michael Charles and substitute Stefan Brown (3)

Stefan Browns hat trick was the quickest EVER hat trick by a substitute in the FA Cup. What an honour for him and for AFC Totton.

Bradford were reduced to 10 men in the 1st half at 1-0 and to 9 men with the score at 5-1.

Totton were that good on the day though they would have still beaten Bradford by three clear goals at least in my opinion.

If you want to see who Totton get in the 2nd round the draw is live on ITV 1 at 2.40 this afternnon.

Well done Totton!

Up until the 1st sending off Bradford played the better passing football and it would of been a very close game if they had had 11 players for the whole game.
