Saints Bring Back The Half Season Ticket (Well Sort Of)
Saints Bring Back The Half Season Ticket (Well Sort Of)

Saints are allowing fans to buy a special season ticket for the final 10 games of the season.

Why it isnt a genuine half season ticket is unclear, but the club must be applauded for listening to the concerns of fans first aired some 18 months ago when the half season ticket was scrapped and introducing a special package that lets fans buy a ticket that takes in the final 10 home games of the season, starting with the visit of Leicester City on Monday 23rd january.

This will appeal to many supporters who were unable to shell out for a full season ticket, but may find this package that starts at £225 for Adults affordable.

However the club do stress that this is not a season ticket and does not carry the benfits as such, the main one of course being priority on away game tickets, that being the case i would also hazard a guess that at present anyway it wont give the purchaser priority in the summer if they wish to buy a full season ticket for the 202/13 season.

But it is a step in the right direction and does show that the Club is perhaps changing its direction with regard to season tickets and are now seeing the benefits of building up a fanbase that is committed to coming week in week out.
