Whatever Happened To... Joe Keith

Joe Keith spent six seasons with Colchester United, and since being released by Phil Parkinson in the summer of 2005, has spent most of his career in or around East London.
He joined Leyton Orient straight after leaving the U's and spent a season and a half at Brisbane Road, making 60 appearances and scoring three goals. During this time he also spent a month on loan at Shrewsbury Town, making just two appearances.
In January 2007 he moved to Brentford, being signed by ex-U's teammate Scott Fitzgerald. His spell at Griffin Park was brief and he left in the summer having made 18 appearances, scoring two goals.
After being released by Brentford, he dropped into non-league football, joining AFC Hornchurch. A year later he joined Tilbury where he was an Isthmian League Cup winner in his first season and took on a role as player-coach in his second season. After two-years with the Dockers he made the move to East Thurrock United where he linked up with former West Ham United teammate Lee Hodges.
In November 2011 he left East Thurrock to join to Aveley, again following Hodges, who was appointed their manager. His time at Aveley was short-lived and he returned to East Thurrock before the end of the season.
Clubs since leaving the U's: Leyton Orient, Shrewsbury Town (loan), Brentford, AFC Hornchurch, Tilbury, East Thurrock United, Aveley.
