![]() Thursday, 5th Jan 2012 11:29 by TWTD.co.uk Town, Burnley and Leeds are all claimed to be interested in signing Tottenham right-back Adam Smith, according to one of this morning’s tabloids. TWTD revealed that Town were eyeing the 20-year-old back in March. Despite plenty of Championship clubs targeting him during the summer, the England U21 international joined the MK Dons on a season-long loan in August. Although that would appear to rule him out of a January switch, Spurs may have included the option of a recall in January should they feel he would be better served by gaining experience on loan at a higher level or if a club was interested in doing a permanent deal. Londoner Smith signed a new one-year deal at White Hart Lane in the summer. Boss Paul Jewell was spotted watching the MK Dons in action back in September.
