Swans manager Kenny Jackett was a happy man after his side grabbed a point at Blackpool - despite conceding the equaliser just seven minutes from the end of the game.

Speaking after the match, Jackett said "I thought we had done it and produced a real smash and grab performance. "We had been under the cosh early on, scored from a rare attack and then had to really dig deep and defend well. "This is an intimidating place to come and the crowd really get behind them and the challenges were flying in. "But it was a good game rather than a dirty one. We had our backs to the wall for long periods but still looked dangerous on the break. "It was the sort of point we needed after a disappointing performance at Brighton in midweek. We have some big games coming up at home in the next couple of weeks and I think we are in a pretty good position to maintain a play-off challenge."

Adrian Forbes, names man of the match for the seasiders was also upbeat "I think we are beginning to prove ourselves these days. "We have had a steady rise up the table and have shown we were within a whisker of beating one of the best teams. "We had a couple of near misses, one ruled out for offside and Wes Hoolahan smacked the underside of the bar before we finally grabbed the equaliser. "Going down to an own goal earlier in the season would have seen us curl up against a side like Swansea. "They have a good squad - some powerful players. I spent two good years there but am really enjoying my football at Blackpool now."
