The Sunday People says that Paulo Sousa wants Lee Trundle to make a return to the club from Bristol City

It looks increasingly like Trundle isn't in Robins' boss Gary Johnson's plans for the coming season, following the signings of David Clarkson and Danny Haynes.

The former Wrexham man left the Liberty in the summer of 2007 to join City for £1m after four excellent seasons in South Wales, where he notched 86 goals in 156 starts.

Portuguese boss Sousa is actively on the lookout for a new striker after Pablo Counago rejected the opportunity to join from Ipswich.

It's believed that 32 year old Trundle would take a wage cut from his deal at Ashton Gate to return to the club.

Other strikers being linked with a move to the Swans this summer are Samuel di Carmine of Fiorentina and Marek Saganowski of Southampton.
