When Do The Fixtures Move? Thursday, 18th Jun 2015 08:00 by Planet Swans (follow us on Twitter @swansnews) So yesterday the Swans initial fixture list for the new season was released and the plans are starting to be made by fans as they plan their various trips whether it involved exiles returning home or Jacks leaving Swansea for away games. But we all know that the games are subject to change but why and when will the various games change ahead of the new season. TV GamesThe first selection of live TV games will take place in early July and will cover the fixtures for both August and September. For matches in October and November, the selections will be announced in early August, around the time that the season actually starts For all fixtures from December onwards, the TV Games will typically be announced six weeks before the start of the month in question. European CompetitionAs we know from experience, sides that compete in the Europa League will have all their following fixtures moved to the Sunday rather than the Saturday because the competition tends to involve Thursday night football. Europa League dates for the coming season are 6th August 2015 (this could cover West Ham and Southampton) Group stages - 17 September, 1 October, 22 October, 5 November, 26 November and 10 December Round of 32 - 18 and 25 February Domestic CupsTraditionally the FA Cup weekend will mean a blank Premier League fixture list but the 6th Round and Semi Finals are on scheduled league weekends, these are 12 March and 23 April. Also the Capital One Cup Final takes place on 28 February and could impact on Premier League fixtures both that weekend and the following midweek which is a scheduled full fixture list Photo: Action Images Please report offensive, libellous or inappropriate posts by using the links provided.
