Evil next to make loan move permanent?
Evil next to make loan move permanent?

Keith Hill has told the Observer that the club are looking into making Lee McEvilly's move from Accrington into a permanent one.

Whilst speaking about the deal which saw Sam Russell commit himself to Spotland for the remainder of the 2007-8 season, Hill admitted that he was looking at securing both loan players on permanent contracts.

Hill told the Ob: "We are now looking to tie up permanent deals for Lee McEvilly and Marcus Holness and we are in communication with their clubs. "

With Holness's move now secure, it would seem likely that attention will turn to Accrington and getting the permanent signature of the Northern Ireland international.

Evil re-joined Accrington in the Summer after a two injury hit spell with Wrexham. However, the move to Stanley didn't enjoy the same period of success that he did a few years back, and was shipped out to Dale on loan.

It's been so far so good though at Spotland, with three goals in six appearances, and with Chris Dagnall still ruled out for much if not all of the season, an extra striker has long been a priority for Keith Hill.
