According to reports from Humberside, the U’s have had an approach for Hull City’s Damien Delaney turned down.

The Hull Daily Mail has reported that a figure in the region of £450,000 was offered for the left sided defender.

The 26-year-old Irishman has been with Hull for over five years, having signed from Leicester City for £50,000, but is reported to now be out of favour at the KC Stadium with his place in the Hull first team being taken by a certain player called Wayne Brown!
