![]() Saturday, 12th Jan 2008 22:33 The club has confirmed that they have had a bid for Walsall's Daniel Fox accepted.Chief Exec Marie Partner confirmed on the club’s website: "We have had a firm bid accepted on Saturday morning by Walsall for Daniel Fox. "Further discussions will now take place after official permission by Walsall was given to talk to the player." 21-year-old Fox is a left-sided defender who joined Walsall in the summer of 2005 from Everton, the club where he started his career. He never broke into the first team at Goodison Park, but did make 11 appearances on loan at Scottish side Stranraer prior to joining the Saddlers. Since arriving at the Bescot Stadium, he has notched up 118 appearances for Walsall, scoring six goals.
