In form Macclesfield Town make the trip to Moss Lane on Tuesday night to help celebrate Altrincham's 100 years of football at Moss Lane.

Ahhh the good old Moss Lane.  Home of Alty FC.  Did you know they have been hating Macc for a long long time?  No?  Where have you been.

The first game played at Moss Lane was Altrincham vs Macclesfield Town hence why this fixture is going ahead.  Back in September 1910 the Silkmen defeated the Robins 3-1 with Dickie Best bagging a hat trick.

The last time Macc visited Alty was back in July 2001 in Graham Heathcote's Testimonial Match.  The match ended in a 0-0 draw that night with just over 400 fans in attendance.

Gary Simpson will take a strong side like the one that played City Elite on Saturday.  No doubt Matty Hamshaw and Jack Cudworth will get to play some part in the game.

Altrincham have former Silkmen Danny Adams playing for them.  He joined the Silkmen from Alty back in 2000.

It should be a good game considering the rivalry even though its only a friendly.

Entrance to the game is £7 adults and £2 concessionaires with a kick off at 7.45pm.
