Take them with you if not sold, there are bound to be ticketless fans from Spurs or Colchester hanging about, better to sell at a discount than not at all. |

Try advertising on the official message board as well you might have more luck on there. |

Tickets coming up all the while online in singles doubles trebles and even quadruples possibly from failed credit card transactions so keep looking folks if you missed out initially but be warned they are going fast! |

Glad to be of help, Colchester selling tickets now but only to season ticket holders at present one per season ticket. I think there could be more demand for this than Wealdstone realise, we have quite a few of supporters who live in London and surrounding areas (My daughter lives in Twickenham!) who may enjoy a short trip over there. Lets hope it doesnt dissolve into chaos, you only need a few hot heads in either camp and it will be all over the T.V given it is already covered for football purposes. |

Anybody wanting to buy tickets for Saturday and afraid of missing out at this end can buy them online direct from Wealdstone and collect on Saturday. It sounds like fans will be directed to home or away areas on the day. http://www.wfcmegastore.co.uk/118-tickets |

Very sad it makes you think, I am 60 in April my dad died at just 56 and I realised just how young that really was when I reached that age. RIP Gordon. [Post edited 1 Jan 1970 1:00]

If you want to relive the nightmare goals Chelmsford have put them on their Facebook page click the link and then scroll down to the entry by Ken Carr, the 1st 3 goals come up quite quickly but after that there is quite a few minutes of action until their third which appears around 6.00-6.30 minutes. https://www.facebook.com/groups/14906227148/ |

Some handy tips for those of you going on Saturday from a Chelmsford fans forum. For any Colchester fans looking for somewhere to drink before the game it depends on how you're getting to the ground. If you are coming by train then I recommend drinking in town as that's where the best boozers are. Within 2 mins of the station you have The Chelmsford Ale House, The Orignal Plough, The Railway Tavern, The Ship, The Royal Steamer, The Golden Fleece, Barista and the White Horse. All do lots of good Ales, have a variety of lagers/foreign beers and are basically decent boozers. My recommendations out of those would be The Chelmsford Ale House, The Original Plough, The Royal Steamer and The Ship. Their is a cab rank behind the station/The Orignal Plough and another outside The Chelmsford Ale House to get you to the ground (about £6/7 for 5 people) or you could get the number 54, 56 or H1 bus which drops you a couple of minutes from the ground (ask for Melbourne Avenue/Parade). If you are driving but are prepared to come into Chelmsford Town first then I would either head to the ones mentioned or instead head over towards the Cricket ground and go to some of he better boozers around there. You have a plethera of pubs on or just off Moulsham Street (O'Connors, The Black Horse, The Cricketers and the Woolpack being the best IMO) or you can head down Lower Anchor Street and trying out the excellent Orange Tree and/or The Queens head. Other options where you can drive and easily park which aren't too far from the ground are The Black Bull and The Globe on Rainsford Road (5 min drive to ground). If you'd prefer to drive and park straight up the ground before seeking a boozer their isn't that much choice. The best one for me is The Flyer which is about a 5 minute walk away if you go through the woods (walk out of carpark onto park following line of trees. You will come to an entrance to the woods over a little bridge and follow the path until you come to the houses. Walk through the alleyway until you hit the road (Nickelby Road). Cross that and go down the other Alley way where you will enter the carpark of Morrisons. The Flyer is next to that). Obviously if its wet it may be a bit muddy so in that case you can go the longer route via the road (a 10 minute walk) or head to The Red Beret which is 2 mins from the ground on Melbourne Avenue which you will pass on your way to the ground. It's an estate pub which has some colourful characters in it but its not as rough as people make it out to be (it was pretty bad 10 years ago) and they normally put on a good welcome when we have to segregate big groups of away fans. |

Chelmsford's ground only holds 3K so if we get them I can see the game getting switched to the WHCS, ETU hold about 4K but get less support so that may be less likely. With the number of Essex clubs at home the Police will be looking to switch one to Sunday I suspect that one will be us as both sets of fans won't have so far to travel home after the game. |

The great thing for me was our Col U is back I thought it had gone forever, the effort skill and will to win was great, everybody came out and walked down the road with a smile on their face afterwards, it almost felt like Layer Road! |
