Well the refugee crisis is indeed an incredibly tragic course of events and it was good to see our Government finally make some sort of concession today although I would have liked to have seen us go much further and a total revisiting of the immigration controls that are quite frankly strangling our economy, especially the hi-tech industries.
Have to say I am just so impressed by the responses of the German government and people in recent weeks. It's a country I love and frankly I've fallen more in love with them in recent weeks. Great stuff. | |

I haven't posted at all for some time, aggressively or not, so depressing do I find the level of general comment on here to be honest.
Trampie is a WUM whose only focus is on provoking reaction. It is ruining any semblance of sensible conversation on here, hence my irritation.
There are some great discussions, and opinions, many of which I totally disagree with which is obviously to be expected, but people just deliberately posting in fake personas just to be controversial is phenomenally tiresome.

I just find the WUM attempts tiresome.
Re not castigating people - I don't believe that I'm the forum police. So if I happen to see a message that I wish to engage with, and I disagree with its contents, then I will, but if I don't happen to see it, or would rather not comment, I don't.
I also find that there are posters that I disagree with vehemently, but who may make a pleasant or friendly remark to me and I will respond in kind. I have even done so with the aforementioned Trampie.
Equally, I have always enjoyed, for example, Dav as a poster, and yet I castigated one of his posts more than I have done with pretty much any poster I can recall. From memory the only time I can recall swearing on this forum was at ECB, and he is one of my favourite posters on here.
So to be honest, I don't know who you are referring to in particular, but I believe you to be mistaken, re my selectiveness or otherwise.

I have no problem with that view - over the past few years I would agree with it - at the moment, based on current form I don't.
But the wording of your post yesterday:

is a strange one for a Swans supporter don't you think? This following your remarkable assertion that Wales would beat the Swans. Given that you wouldn't for one moment believe that Wales would beat Man Utd (for example - and nor would anyone else) and in our last game out we beat them, it's a fairly blatant wind up. Either that, or you have no idea what you are talking about of course (in my opinion).

Yes, Ramsey played well in Wales previous campaign, I remember him scoring out in Belgium to get us a 1-1 draw, up in Hampden to help us to a 2-1 win, I think he scored at the Liberty when we beat Switzerland in the last Euro's and I think he scored for GB in the Olympics at the Millennium Stadium in one of the matches around the same time.
Considering how good Wales have been in this campaign Ramsey has been very good but not at his Rolls Royce best, but in this campaign Bale has.
I'm confident Wales will make the finals and with Wales defensive set up, if Bale and Ramsey are on fire then no matter who the opposition is in a one off game then they can watch out, can't imagine the top teams parking the bus against Wales and Bale on the break could be interesting. | |

Belgium have literally wall to wall top Premier League quality, they didn't get the better of Wales they have the likes of Courtois, Alderweireld, Kompany,Vertonghen, Fellaini, Chadli ,Mirallas, De Bruyne, Hazard, Benteke, Lukaku.
Others are Januzaj, Dembélé, Origi , Mignolet , Vermaelen [used to play in the Prem].
They could literally field a team and bench of Premier League players and top ones as well. | |

I don't swear very often (apart from at the Swans matches) but I think I took umbrage at the suggestion that I had made up my neighbour George re the mansion tax.
Sadly, in the interim, George has died and his house has been bought by some sort of b***ard property developer, so he wouldn't have had to pay it anyway as it happens!
Good old innings he had though - was evacuated on D Day - a fact I discovered when I was telling him that my parents were stuck in Prague when the volcano erupted causing all flights to stop - he told me that the last time he was stuck in Europe was on D Day :-) | | | |
