Ah, I have an interesting twist on that same problem.
My hearing hasn't been brilliant for about the last 40 years - probably the result of playing in rock bands for 20 years. However, we've been together for over 27 years now and it still hasn't dawned on her she can solve the slight communication problems we occasionally have and I can't, but it's still my fault for not listening hard enough! Is it possible to listen louder? The irony is that she is great with people who are really hard of hearing being a home visit volunteer for Age UK! | | | |
