At the time he was a very good candidate. Had got Burton promoted and they were two points clear in League One at the time we appointed him.

After over 50 years it is difficult to stop going because unlike Bill Power I don't see myself as a cinema goer when it comes to this club although over these last few months I have been sorely tempted.
Speaking for myself football is an entertainment first and foremost for those with the half and half scarves and purport to support and wear the shirt of teams they have never seen live. [Post edited 6 Nov 2016 20:47]

Briatore was the one who said fans only "pay twenty pounds" and so should have no say in what happens at the club. Bill Power was the one who helped stop us going under when there were collection buckets being passed round Loftus Road.
