My local non league team,

Taken over by Glenn Tamplin "Essex" businessman , throwing in buckets of cash , bought out the previous owners , signed Konchesky causing the manager to resign .

He has now taken over managing the team himself in the short term , playing Konchesky in center mid. Fans forum tonight where the rumour is he is going to announce Jamie O Hara or Carlton Cole or both ...

Twitter feed has gone from being one man and his dog to razzamataz in a few months.

Pictures of the owner arriving in a white 911 are commonplace

Mark Wright the TOWIE bloke, partner of Ms Keegan was at the last home game is going to invest ...

Its got to all end in disaster hasnt it ?

Its always been a decent place to go on non Rangers days , they have a rowdy mob behind the goal who get a decent atmosphere going on a dark Sat afternoon, it would be a shame if it all goes t*ts up

This happened at Chertsey town 20 years ago,Kenny sansom played for them,Francis Joseph and few others I forgot about, chairman applied for planning permission for a new car park behind the ground, got thrown out so he tool his toys and pram and ckeared off leaving chertsey to drop through the leagues like a stone.

I think this happens a lot in non-league.

Small team, happy at its level gets bought up as a vanity project.

Big new leader ploughs in loads of money, employing ex-pros etc. then gets bored and the club goes bust. Happened to Hornchurch FC about a decade ago.

Obviously happens higher up the football pyramid as well. it just takes more money

I understand that the new owner has stated that the weekly wage is now £20k. This will rise significantly if they are to launch a promotion campaign next season.

Normally at this level the contracted wages are after tax, so add to that amount income tax, employer NIC & employee NIC!

They have signed a player from Hemel this week for a fee of £24k as well.
All of this to be financed from the pockets of one man!

Guy at Chertsey Town won the lottery and spent quite alot of it on the club. But so did a fair few others "helping' him. Money ran dry - I think he runs a exec taxi business now!

DId thee also have that other bloke - Spencer something or other who also fronted at Farnborough not long ago???

He was involved somewhere else but it eludes me where.

Spencer Trethewy, now known as Spencer Day after changing his name by deed poll, is the bloke who pitched up as the saviour of the old Aldershot F.C. in the early 90s but it transpired didn't have a pot to piss in and a couple of years later ended up inside. He's now currently the manager of Farnborough F.C.

Thats him, Farnborough were a half decent conf south side (tosser fans though) anyway now struggling in Isthmain, not all him to be fair, but he owned someone else for a while before taking manager gig at Farnborough.

Owned Chertsey for a time till he left for Fboro

Thanks to the Rangers Friday kick off young Taxiboy and I unashamedly joined the ranks of the gloryhunters and JCLs yesterday .

Decent beer . a band after the game and a crowd of 1200 plus . They lost 2-4 so the playoffs are pretty much gone . Konchesky played on the left of a back 3 and did ok , O Hara looked overweight and unfit but his passing was way above this level and he scored this ...

We were behind the goal..he says its the best he has scored

As a season ticket holder at Ebbsfleet, we have had huge investment, a brand new pitch installed with pop up sprinklers. The ground in the process of being rebuilt, one side has been done, the next one to be started at the end of the season. No one knows how long these people will hang around for, but ours seem to be, and also backing the manager. All we need to do is get out of the Conference South, the trouble is every team wants to beat you, as we are the so called money bags of our league. It looks as though it's play off time for us once again, we have already lost 3 times in them.!!!!!!!!!!! I know all about Billericay, and what is happening their, our owners are now to start their 5th season with us, lets hope Billericays do.

One for the lefties....

Dulwich Hamlet who are in the same league and have a socialist slant, are five points ahead of Billericay.

Won at Lowestoft yesterday and are sitting in the play off positions.

Hate dulwich. Saw them win 4-2 t'other day. Cnt fans, one asked for gluten free beer. Burn the cnts to the ground.

Was at Worthing yesterday. Decent little ground, plastic pitch, crap game and no idea how they are mid table. Got bloody sunburnt too, bastard pasty skin.
