Thank you Brighton fans 19:26 - Nov 4 with 10521 views | castlejack | I was surprised but when the swans fans starting chanting for the greedy bast**rds to get out of our club, the Brighton fans applauded It shows our plight as a club and the cause is well known A really disappointing day all round

Guess they’ve waited as long as the swans fans for a return to the top flight, and they’re making the most of it. I think the yanks need to wake up to the fact that you dont realise what you’ve got until it’s gone. Wake up before you end up with a championship club, just look what’s happening at Sunderland.

I remember when our support was like that.Spent too long in a souless league and now with a souless board/chairman watching shit football for atleast 3 seasons.
Thank you Brighton fans on 19:43 - Nov 4 with 6739 views | Jackfath | It really boils my piss when we have people wanting to thank other fans for clapping us. I think someone once called it sportsmanship. I'd take them feeling intimidated and wanting to go home rather than patronising us. Opinions eh.

I don’t think they were patronising by showing their support for our supporters anger at our owners, in the same way it’s not patronising when opposition fans applaud when the other teams player is stretchered off with an injury. There has to be an element of sportsmanship, that’s why they call it sport. I think your annoyance is more to do with our piss poor performance and having to listen to them sing all afternoon... must admit there’s nothing more fcuking annoying than the sound of away fans celebrating at the liberty as I watch another goal hit the back of our net.

They were booing Mike Dean, all aimed at him when he jogged down that way during his warm up. Was at the time Kev was reading that material out. Which unfortunately did not stop some morons chanting some nonsense but that's another matter.

Maybe i'm alone, but i think Brighton fans were crap for the size of their support today. And for fans of theirs to constantly complain about homophobic chanting to set out their stall by singing "Sheep Shaggers" on mass as their first song? They get everything they deserve in my opinion. VVankers.

They probably haven't been spoilt by expectation. Whilst I wouldn't swap the last 10 years (especially the quality of football & entertainment under Bobby, Brenda and especially that grumpy Dane, if feel a bit envious of where they are in their journey. We had great times at the stage they're at with even better times around the corner. Once in a generation stuff if you're lucky for a team like us.

Not really. Sing racist songs get homophobic songs back. It's quite simple.

There were a gang of yobs kicking property and signs over etc on Neath Road. Never seen that before. So some of the worst fans I've seen down here since we joined the Prem tbh. [Post edited 5 Nov 2017 11:05]

Sat right next to them in the North Upper I can confirm that their first song was NOT "sheep shaggers" but in fact "C-C-C-Siders". Otex have some great products which may be of interest to you. :)

Met up with a couple of Brighton fans after the game in F & B, really tidy fellas they were, and were very complimentary about the Swans recent history and the very warm and friendly welcome they were given by the locals, they go to most away games, and said this was one of their favorite away trips, and certainly the best since their promotion to the PL. As they were about to leave for a curry and a night out in the City, they said hopefully we'd both stay up as it will mean a repeat visit next season, and gave us advise where to stay and which pub to call into should we make the trip for the away game. I felt rather proud of what they had said about us, a tiny consolation after our shyte performance I know, but hey !!
