Very proud to be voted Planet Swans Poster of the Year 2017 by my fellow posters. Especially on a site that nearly had 20 million impressions last year.

Very good, hard earned point.

But we are as blunt as they come at the minute.

Crawling our way to safety with an excellent point

One thing we're not short of this season is grit.

Hopefully a fit and available Fer/Celina midfield can lead to more attacking ability like in the Leeds game and we can start racking up some wins.

Pain or damage don't end the world. Or despair, or f*cking beatings. The world ends when you're dead. Until then, you got more punishment in store. Stand it like a man... and give some back.

I’m confident with Fer and Celina coming back that goals will come.

And if Montero and Bony return then goals will come by the bucket load.

Should have been three nil - nils this week.

Second best defence and third worst attack statistically. Sound base to build on and hopefully Celina and Fer will improve us going forward soon.

Sometimes streamers have technical problems and streams go down, it doesn't mean it has been taken down

Sharing links on Planet Swans is gonna make no difference when the same links are being freely shared on Reddit - pretty much the worlds biggest website

That can happen when you play the league leaders away.

Funny ol' game.

Potter is doing the smart thing with the assets he has by making us harder to beat. We saw in the Leeds game where we basically had a first choice midfield fit that we can create plenty of openings.

Actually I think it is only an Alphabetical drop as we have the same stats as Villa.

Don’t think so.

They’ve scored 15 and we’ve scored 7 so they’re ahead on goals scored.

On reddit, one was a youtube stream which got banned - was a boro stream.

The second was pulled at halftime. Our game was the only Champiosnhip game available which had all options removed.

Dont put it past our owners to do this. American sports teams employ people to specifically monitor messageboards to keep an eye on fan engagement.

I couldn't get the stream to work at all this week so I wasn't sure whether it was a SwansTV re-stream or a stream of a live broadcast somewhere

Still applies though, if a game is being shared on Reddit then the cat is already out the bag

Is there an argument that, until we get our first choice midfield fit, we would be better off playing without a striker?
Oli is a poacher and without the creative players behind him playing the passes, or the forward thinking players making runs off his hold up play, it feels like we are at our most creative when building forward with the midfielders.

I know the sample size is small but in a week of 3 tough games we've looked by far and away our most potent against Stoke.

The agreements in place between clubs and the EFL mean they have to monitor these things, even if it's a lazy, token effort. We're running our own service but it's still very much affiliated with iFollow and its regulations (see the pricing structure).

It's an interesting question.

There's a lot of merit in it as we played without a recognised centre forward in the game against WBA which became the benchmark for the way our football can be played. Difference in that game I guess was we had a prime Michu poised and ready to burst into the box at will.

I'm not sure we can afford to be without Oli at the moment.

Interesting point. You might be right - but Ollie is doing a lot of tracking back, which is a big development in his game. In the Premier League his work off the ball was poor. Shows Potter's contribution.

GP's "Progressive possession based football" is progressing nicely. (stats up again)

Starting to feel frustrated in a good way, again - like when we bossed games only to maybe throw it away or not take our chances
