Why there is no movement at Warren Farm 19:20 - Nov 14 with 3865 viewsWestbourneR

I've been told it's because Fernandes wants to sell the club if he can't get this stadium over the line.

Until it's been decided the work is on hold.

Could be utter b*llocks but it's from a pretty good source.

If he wants a new stadium then he should stay away from all negotiations, let Amit get on with it.

I've always thought that his interest in the club had something to do with property development. He was after West Ham who were odds on to move to the stadium at Stratford leaving Upton Park available for redevelop. He showed interest in Norwich City who have since been involved in the redevelopment of Carrow Quay.

If QPR want to build a stadium on the Linford Christie stadium site, it may involve the Council building affordable housing on Loftus Rd. The Council have already made it clear that they wont be doing QPR any special favours.
