I wish he’d untie that JCB tyre he seems to always drag around the pitch with him.

Doesn’t do enough for me.

I hear he’s 22 years old.
And I also hear Kanu is still only 49 years old.

If Burrell is out for a few games (hope not and sub was a precaution) then Kone needs to step it right up and make himself the main man.

Indeed

I mean just “what the hell do people expect” for a rumoured £3million?

Me. I expect more. A lot more.

Insert paragraph about Barry Bannan – Preview
at 03:13 4 Jan 2026

Fantastic piece

I’ve been sick of all the “LOL’z” and “typical QPR” shit for years.
(With the “if there wasn’t something wrong with him he wouldn’t be here” line I hear people trott out a particular pet hate)

Really hope for the sake of yourself and our hard working fans that the It’s Not Acceptable Club are placed on a sabbatical Sunday brunch time.

Love from

Series 3 of Blue Lights - brilliant

Wish I’d rewatched first two series before dived into this but they’re coming back to me.
Very good TV and very, very realistic drama

Frey on the move?
at 22:42 2 Jan 2026

I’ll always be grateful to Frey for the part he’s played in keeping us up whilst with us — and he did contribute.
It’s a shame he couldn’t maintain a fitness level but maybe a contributory factor in that is the club as a whole and remote experts not assessing him properly from Dubai. We’ll never know.
His attitude has always been spot on and I’m sure he’d love to have put more goals on the board.

Incidentally, he’s averaged so far a goal every 5 and a bit games, Kone by contrast is a goal every 4 and a bit games.

If the Unicorn leaves us then I wish him well

January transfer rumours
at 21:26 2 Jan 2026

Leo Castledine was mentioned to me earlier as a central midfielder linked on loan.
I know nothing of him but apparently highly rated and at Huddersfield

Way down the list for me as order of importance to me is:-
Left back (established so Larkche can be understudy next season)
Keeper (goal preferably but zoo or wicket if in right price range)
Right back cover
Centre mid animal
Striker

I’d disagree.

My view is Burrell is doing lots of running and closing down and Kone not doing his share.
Kone has quite the knack of hiding for large parts of games.

I would agree he finds himself too deep and that’s probably on JS
However, he’s only demonstrated the ability to play as a point man v Charlton for me. I’m not sure I’ve seen decent, physical hold up play from him across large durations of any other times he has found himself the furthest forward forward.

Fingers crossed he’ll come good and be walking round the training pitch giving “I’m the man” interviews with Charlie Austin after another four goals in quick succession

I was never fully on board with the Kone and explosion

He’s better than a lot of what has gone before him; can’t deny that. After the initial hype I noted that he just never seemed happy on the pitch and looked somewhat laboured or on the edges of games.

With each passing week I’m becoming more unimpressed but wouldn’t write the fella off. However, I can’t see him being a striker at the top area of the EFL as he lacks something he’ll never have —- pace.
Love to know what we paid for him.
I’ve seen £3M mentioned - if so then that pound for pound a poor transfer so far (stress so far)
Ive also seen £1.75M noted - if so then fair play.

I can’t see him making double figures this season though as I think he’s only got four goals??? That pretty pisspoor really

No problem and I’m always up for being wrong.

Agreed on the focus on safety bit.
I’m still carrying the scars of the SnakeBeal season when I agreed we looked safe when second in January…… look how that panned out. 12 points from third bottom is my relax yardstick; it’s now 11 so into the warning zone ever so slightly.

Such a sad state of affairs as the last few weeks should’ve seen us plum in the middle of the top six.
That might’ve made such a difference this time of the year - I know cash is king and players will follow that but, being top six / top ten and pushing must make you more attractive to better calibre players.

Oh well, as you say let’s see….

Sorry but it’s been brewing……

We have just never looked convincing under this fella and he’s too smiley, shrugging shouldery for me.
Even the “performance of the season” against Leicester (only 12 days ago as stated) wasn’t, for me, a decent 90 minutes. I just don’t think JS or his childmaster get the Championship. They don’t seem to understand you need brawn, brain, pace, physique at key times. I’m
Not saying he’s clueless about football as I’m sure he’d wipe the floor with me, but, he’s just not learning what’s needed in this war of attrition that is our league.

We’re heading for yet another turn of the year Doom Loop and it’s not acceptable.
A loss against the Owls and another “(Enter goals scored of your choice) nil on your big day out” may well be ahead against a terrible Hammers team in the Cup.
We’ve spent shedloads of cash relatively speaking to ourselves and got one pacey striker for our troubles; the rest are fairly ropey if you ask me.

Yes my glass is always half empty but Jesus this mob have to surely frustrate the life out of you.
Give me a gritty bar steward putting players against the wall and demanding they play through pain barriers and “feckin die fer three points” every single day and twice on Sundays.
Freeloaders turning up for 45 mins and then disappearing for game after game should not be tolerated at our club but we’ve become numb to it over a decade.

If you force anyone to sit through that 102 minutes then it’s surely a trip to HR and a claim of workplace bullying for you.

It’s the cumulative effect of the season for me.
Our position flattered us IMHO
The recruitment was largely shite (again)
Manager is totally clueless as to what the Championship is all about.
The main man is only concerned about his PR

Can’t deny we are higher in the table than I thought we’d be but the whole club looks like they are more shocked than me.

I’ve not seen us put in a decent full 90 minutes and I feel the players have less respect for their head coach than I do.
(My respect falling through the floor - he looks a limp Dandy Dan to me)

I’m not calling for a Managerial change but he needs to be let know this slop is not acceptable

Sadly I have to jump around stations now since the finish up of Release Radio in 2025
That was the finest radio station ever.

Christ on a three wheeled bike.
When you line up those signings and add a sprinkle of Celar, Nardi etc the club is still pissing money into the wind.

Out of your list I’d say only Burrell has been a success.
So far.

Shockingly poor return on outlay elsewhere.
So far.

1-1 and you’ll be happy with that.

Fail to win one of these two home games and I’ll be getting post SnakeBeale vibes about the place.

Hopefully Nourrys input produces the right line up today and the right in game changes are made at the right time.
I’m hoping to hear from attendees that Handsome Ronnie was seen in the South Africa Road stand accompanied by a stellar left back, keeper and centre mid maestro and all four had fresh ink on their hands.

Chaotic team selection, chaotic outcome as R's slip at West Brom - Report
at 14:53 31 Dec 2025

I'm back to thinking team selection is being influenced by "others".

Exhibit A - Paul Smyth Esquire.
It'll be a tough one to argue me out that there's no correlation between his lack of minutes and current Contract posiiton.
Odd he's on the bench if that's the case granted.

Twenty games into the season I'm sorry but I'm done with giving JS any slack.
The Pompey and WBA debacles lay firmly at his door and he needs to shape up sharpish; if he's having his strings pulled then grow some boules.
