Linked to us, seems Chelsea are recalling him from Charlton to loan him back out, looked very impressive when I've seen him on the box, 6 goals for Charlton.

Us, QPR, Rangers, West Brom & Millwall all linked.

Does he offer more than Beds did at the en oblast season.
Hopefully a good loan.
Seems happy to get stuck and looks enthusiastic.

Very proud to be voted Planet Swans Poster of the Year 2017 by my fellow posters. Especially on a site that nearly had 20 million impressions last year.

Wow he looks a right little menace doesn't he?
Good motor, turns on a sixpence, good long and short passes even putting a spin on the long ones to make it easier for the attacker. Good poacher in the area and has a good hoof on him.
Seems to good too be true. Watch it all go tits up. ;-)

What?
I was responding to a post about Hoon's wages being high.
The point was at £11,000 a week he's not a high cost player.

It was a joke...not aimed at you.

Indeed. Has the skill set to be the missing piece for our midfield.

That whole piece seems at odds with what's actually happening this season. We're losing our passing style again and you'd have thought the Chelsea lot would know that if they've watched us.

Maybe this guy's movement will be just the thing we need to get us going again, but that puts hell of a lot of pressure on him.

Cooper is clearly very well regarded as a coach. The problem is, as Paul Clement also found out, is that there's a world of difference between being a well regarded coach implementing the ideas of others and being the one who has to come up with the ideas himself.

It's early days in his management career and he's clearly got a lot of scope for improvement, but the learning curve is steep and unforgiving and he has to climb it quickly.

Pain or damage don't end the world. Or despair, or f*cking beatings. The world ends when you're dead. Until then, you got more punishment in store. Stand it like a man... and give some back.

What are you on about? Cooper managed England U17's to a World Cup win. Paul Clement was Ancelottis' cone man. Big difference.

Did he identify and sign players? Did his team play to a style of his own choosing or one required within the English development structure? World of difference between his job in the England setup to being an actual manager.

He was no more a manager for them than Cameron Toshack was for the Swans.

You've compared him to Clement, who was a coach coming into management. Cooper's a manager.

Lampard will absolutely have done his homework on Cooper's development in the Championship, with empathy.
We all see Cooper's shortcomings on matchdays, but no doubt Chelsea will be taking a holistic perspective, which is highly encouraging, for Cooper and us.
Cant wait for tomorrow.

I'm quite excited about seeing these new, young acquisitions. Not expecting miracles. But I'd rather watch these than older journeymen after one last pay steal.

The thing is 2 of the three loans in January are completely untried at senior level and could be good we just don't know.
Gallagher has, at lest, been a constant in the Charlton line up and has done well.
WHoscored ratings average out at 6.93
Byers and Fulton (6.7 and Grimes 7.15)
Don't expect too much.
