We berthed at Cádiz and did a day trip to Seville. The part we went to was not great but according to those who know it well we clearly didn’t see the better bits I.e. the old town. Only saw the port in Cádiz. That’s the thing about a cruise, it’s more like a tapas than a main dish😁 |

Don’t get hung up on national debt and how it reflects on the state of a country’s economy. Debt isn’t a bad thing, it enables us to invest. Also, it depends on who the country is in hock to. If it’s to its people through bonds etc. then that’s not bad but foreign debt not so good. It’s one metric but on its own is pretty meaningless.
Some countries, not many, have zero national debt but you wouldn’t want to live there. Without debt there’s no investment. |

Anyone championing the cause gor a worse pension system whether that be scrapping the triple lock or moving to a means tested system should take a long hard look at themselves. When people reach that age having paid into a system then they should be given the best possible deal to see out their lives. This self-righteous attitude of some advocating these things are in another planet. Be careful what you wish for!!! |

These are excellent points.
I’m sure years ago players were encouraged to take a trade whilst pursuing a football career. David Gwythr told me about it because when he was a football apprentice he was also doing a painting and decorating apprenticeship which is how I met him. It’s essential and they can study fir qualifications linked to football such as Sports Science, Physiotherapy etc. |

Martin was manager when Southampton were promoted but I’ll say it was more in spite of him than because of him. He is somebody who I cannot understand why he is getting jobs time and time again. It can’t be interview talk because his previous record does the talking for him, or should do.
Can I just say that if you really are from Mexico (?) your English is absolutely first class. If you’re not and actually taking the piss then I fell for it😬. |

I normally hate international breaks but I don’t mind this time as I’ve just gone on holidays and not back until the day before the Norwich game. So no bad results can spoil my day😂.
Also, it may do us some good. Key hopefully will be fit by that game and rest / training in good measures. We’ll see. |
