The likes of Ki,Jack Cork & Shelvey are streets ahead of anything we have in the current midfield.

Yes very true and their wages are as well.

Firstly Ki has not been “released”. He’s under contract there until the summer. He’s been told he can leave if he can find a Club but he’s on an estimated £65000 a week. The transfer window is still open in several European countries with America being a possibility for him.

So debate as much as you like there’s no chance at all of him coming here. Might as well discuss the merits of bringing Messi here in the summer.

He is by the way a class act. And far superior to our midfield players. Much better. Technically gifted but you wouldn’t want him alongside you in the trenches.

He’s the biggest shithouse to ever pull on the shirt.

Well he’s not about to opt for a career change to MMA that’s a certainty. As for being a shithouse I’d disagree with that. Was player of the year at Swansea in the Premier League for a reason. Skilful elegant with a superb range of passing and vision admittedly though a Nobby Stiles he isn’t 😂

So all of the reports that his contract has been terminated and he’s left the club are incorrect?

Cancelled by mutual consent is what it said I think, so same as us and Carroll, he is free to do what he wants. The fact he will have many better options than ever considering us, shows how far we have fallen since the Yankorama Dream rolled into town

Wouldn’t touch him with a barge pole. The affection people hold for players, who should have been key players, that effectively saw us relegated, largely due to cowardice, is quite staggering. Criminal how he performed for us given his ability. ‘Marking space’ they used to call it.

I seem to remember Ki playing a big role in wins over West Ham and Burnley that should have kept us up. The coward that year was Carvalhal, pure and simple. Ki is a decent (no more, no less) player in the right position with the right players around him. Certainly would be no help with the current mob where we need some backbone, but to pretend his cowardice got us relegated is, in my view, beyond a stretch.

Exactly this, biggest shit house ive seen. Anyone else remember our last but one game in the prem against Southampton,? Wasn't it a case of get the win and draw against Stoke and we would have stayed up?
Ki shit out from every ball, every tackle, and when the ball was whipped in to him he would sky the effing thing 80 foot up in the air, and yet he survived all three substitution changes to remain on the pitch even though half the stadium was screaming for him to leave the pitch. Utter utter useless.
Completely part of the rot that sent us down, that season. Negative namby pamby footballers who just wanted to kick it back to the keeper from the start of the game.

My methods are not favoured by some but by god i speak the truth.

You'd have to be spectacularly dim to think that Ki's concentrated shithousery wasn't a factor in our relegation.

Not a major one though I'll grant. It's a fair stretch to believe that anything he did in his entire spell at the club was in any way as influential as that. He was the colour beige in footballer form. A non-entity.

Pain or damage don't end the world. Or despair, or f*cking beatings. The world ends when you're dead. Until then, you got more punishment in store. Stand it like a man... and give some back.

There was a circle jerk around the bloke on here and all that time he was treating the fans with disdain. A crap, honest footballer is acceptable but cowardice and lack of effort is not, and that’s what we got from Ki. I’d have no problem with him if he’d just been crap. Newcastle bombing him out was always going to happen so where’s all the cheerleaders now?
