You need a lie down in a dark room Get a hobby or go to watch football matches But please try to stop ruining this forum. Apart from you and your nonsense it’s interesting to read the views of others. Seriously take a week off. Better still take up knitting and stop boring people. |

A very good performance and very unlucky not to get the win. Undone by a worldie and some terrible defending from Key. To restrict Preston to five? goal attempts in 90 minutes says a lot about our dominance. Lots to be positive about but the reality is it’s a results business. A few wins and we will soon be back in the top half it’s such a tight league. Certainly no reason to panic as disappointing as it is to lose. |

Jack247 You actually said; “ Two wins or losses this week would sway me either way “. You’ve probably reflected on the stupidity and fickleness of that comment. Do you seriously believe that? A draw this evening will be viewed as a decent result. Whatever happens this week will not determine anything, one way or the other. It’s a long season. With lots of bumps on the way. Got help us if we lose two on the trot …. |

“ Two wins of two losses could sway me either way “ With respect here, this is all that’s wrong with modern football and its fans. So assume we win the next two…. what then if we do that but lose the two or three after that? You cannot be that shallow to give managers a couple of games Conversely two losses aren’t significant necessarily. Look at wider higher longer issues always. He deserves time. He’s young, tactically aware and astute. This league is like no other. It’s cutthroat but you have to give people time when they show promise as Sheehan certainly has. |

Yes but what do you class as the “present ?” The last one game, 3 games, 6 games , 12 games? If you take it literally we have four points from two games but that’s plainly silly isn’t it. In Sheehans case he’s permitted a but of slack anyway for his superb handling of our difficult situation when he stepped in But we aren’t doing too badly. A good run in the Carabao Cup too. Things can change in football quickly and they do. You do not follow the sheep and sack managers at the drop of a hat. You give them time, and plenty of it. |

Underachieved ? Says who ? We have so many new players and almost always that will take time for them to gel. We have also lost some players from last season eg Darling and OBrien And it’s plainly wrong to seperate last seasons results when looking at the managers position. He deserves huge praise and has brownie points from last season. We are doing ok. I’m amazed that anyone is seriously considering change. By all means discuss team selection and tactics as that’s subjective anyway. And most of the know it alls are only wise with hindsight. Onehunglow being an example. Bless him. |

He came in at a difficult time in terms of our results then and has done a very good job ( overall ) with an excellent points per game ratio since he started. He’s inexperienced of course but he’s a thoughtful patient modest and likeable manager / coach. The mere fact that his immediate future is even being talked about is I suppose more of an indication of today’s fickle world of football and it’s fan base who want to see immediate results without thinking slightly longer term. We are doing quite well. There is always room to improve. But this is still Europes most competitive league. With lots of huge ambitious clubs. Staying there is the priority. Only twice in our history have we gone higher. We are Swansea not Arsenal. It’s about perspective too. |

Given the quality of the opposition every Swans player who started that game deserved a 7 minimum. Fisher had a very good game. He had to be on his toes for the whole duration given that territorially they were bombarding us. The ball was in our half for 80% of the game. They had over 20 goal attempts. To our one/two possibly. Players like Key also did very well. The gulf in class between the teams was huge but from that game only positives can be taken even in defeat. It’s no time to be trying to find fault for the sake of it as it’s easy to be wise with hindsight. That’s a cheap shot. Man City BTW. How they move the ball so quickly and accurately with athletes through the team. Their movement and passing is at the highest level. Even at our best 10 years ago we were nowhere near that. Nowhere near. |

Still talking crap constantly I see. If this was my website I’d throw you off it. Without hesitation. Dragging it down with your unsubstantiated, unqualified, baseless negativity as always. For someone who doesn’t even go to games it’s even more strange. Say something nice for once. Go on I dare you. 😂 |
 | Forum Reply | Swansea City v Queens Park Rangers : Match day thread UPDATED at 22:53 22 Oct 2025
That was a disappointing, lacklustre showing from us tonight. We looked predictable and lethargic in and out of possession but certainly lacked creativity pace and movement But talk of sacking the manager now is absolute nonsense. Our points per game ratio since he was appointed last season is very good, considering our situation at that time. QPR surprised me. They were well drilled and deserved the win. A decent team to be fair. |

That’s of course debatable isn’t it. Of course they helped to “ save the club “ and then helped it prosper. It’s unlikely though to say the least that it wouldn’t have survived. It’s irrelevant now. But he turned into Billy Big Bollox and got rather carried away. He made some good decisions but there’s a lot of good fortune involved in football. And a lot of bad luck. Then there’s a way to treat the people who have given you so much support over many years. Then there’s the Jenkins way. It’s only my opinion but he’s completely undone the good work he did for 10 years or so …. |

On the balance of play that was a 0-4 defeat. I’m still unsure how they managed to fluke a 0-0. Big improvements needed everywhere really except in goal where Vigoroux is excelling. But overall a decent enough first ten games with lots of promise. |

Ticket office staff are doing a great job to be fair. I also had a rapid email reply from Ashleigh there. Really helpful and quick replies. 👏🏻👏🏻 |

Dear god. Grown men ( presumably ) repeating the same old boring nonsense about a former manager who is a thoroughly decent fella. It’s a short life chaps. Certainly not worth spending most of it posting rubbish on a football forum about someone that you don’t know. I can’t understand it. He worked hard at our club and did his best. We had some good times when he was here at Swansea and some not so good. It hasn’t worked out at Rangers and he’s lost his job. It’s football. Get a life chaps. It’s too trivial to be concerned about. |
 | Forum Reply | Who do you want in fourth round of the league cup? at 21:36 24 Sep 2025
I had a dream last night that it’s Tottenham away. “ In the League Cup there came Tottenham who were lucky to draw the game so therefore for the replay we went to White Hart Lane… “ But it’s 15/2 odds that it’ll be a Welsh Club and that would do nicely. |

Yes I was at that game as well. It was a fourth division game. Didn’t we do the same against Rotherham ? In the context of being 2-0 down to a Premier league club and then 2-1 down on 93 minutes to win it that will take some beating. Probably our best come back in history imo. And I was there with my son and grandson which made it even more special. |
 | Forum Thread | Swans best ever comebacks to win a game. at 18:59 18 Sep 2025
The win last night. For me it was our best ever. To over turn a lost cause that is. Are there any others in our history that can match or better it in terms of retrieving a lost cause to beat a Premier League team especially that was packed with talent even on the subs bench ? |
 | Forum Reply | Delle Alli at 20:39 5 Sep 2025
Alli had a seriously tough childhood. But worked hard as a young professional player to earn himself more than 30 England caps and become a top performer in the Premier League. His career has nosedived but at 29 he’s capable of becoming an accomplished player once again. Apparently he now has mental health issues and is struggling to keep his career on track but if he can regain his confidence and match fitness then he’s well worth considering dependent on salary requirements and terms. |
