Delighted with the point, in the context of I was expecting us to lose after conceding the second, and we have to remember Mansfield were on an excellent run of form. We do have to start winning though, even with games in hand on one or two others, we're getting a bit too close to a relegation scrap for my liking.
I've always thought that Frank is better out on the left, and today hasn't convinced me otherwise. Trouble is, assuming Jevani's absence was due to other factors (injury?), who do we put in the middle? I haven't seen anywhere near enough from Oteh's brief appearances to believe he's the solution, and I'm not sure where Folivi is. Clampin looked much sharper than Doherty when he came on, so that's the first change I'd make. Tom was tigerish in midfield, but so did Chilvers, so it's six of one and half a dozen of the other there as far as I'm concerned. I have to agree, Senior does need to spend some time on the bench in place of Stevenson.
A point moves us up one place, now ten points clear of the relegation zone, and nine points from the play-offs, but away at Crawley, home to Exeter and then away at FGR makes the rest of February look very tricky.
