Credit must go to Sporting Lisbon, for their Pyrrhic draw at Man City, given they were already 5-0 down from their home first leg. Real Madrid snatch victory from the jaws of defeat thanks to a Benzema second-half 17 minute hat-trick to go through against PSG.
Group A
RSCOSWORTH remains top of the group on 12pts with the Real Madrid home win, but burnsieespana remains hot on his heels on 10pts with the same outcome. With no points scored tonight, concordman is a distant 3rd on 5pts, lots to do, but with 12pts up for grabs next week, not out of it yet.
Group B
It's a 'Norway' across the board tonight for everyone in the group. However, that does mean Tropical_Us still holds a commanding lead at the top of the group on 10pts. Leading the qualifying chase is blueeagle with one point yesterday to be on 5pts, but still 2pts ahead of Pinault_noir on 3pts, albeit that was a spot-on result last week, which might still prove crucial.
Group C
In Group C gerry_us moves narrowly into the lead on 8pts with Real's home win outcome tonight, to add to Bayern's last night. Yours truly draws a double blank tonight to slip into second place on 7pts. MrHappy2 capitalises on my misfortune with an excellent point for predicting the Man City v Sporting Lisbon draw for 4pts overall. He was the only one of all competitors to predict the draw, and closes the qualification gap to just 3pts.
Group D
If you thought Group C was close, Group D is closer still, with just 3pts separating them all. Lewis_1 stays top of the group with Bayern Munich's home win yesterday. BFG moves into second place on 7pts thanks to two outcomes this week, narrowly ahead of TheFatGooner on 6pts with one outcome in Week 3. However, he does have one spot-on in the bank already, so this one is really going to the wire.

Despite getting the Chelsea outcome tonight concordman finishes a distant 3rd on 6pts and leaves the competition.

This group was slightly more clear-cut. Despite a double no-show last night, and one prediction from Week 3 invalid, Tropical_Us still finishes comfortably top of the group on 11pts. Although drawing a blank in Week 4, blueeagle still qualifies in second place on 5pts, even though Pinault_noir closed the gap to just one point with the Chelsea away win tonight, to finish on 4pts.

In Group C, gerry_us romps home top with 12pts, getting last nights Atletico Madrid victory spot-on, and Chelsea's away win. Yours truly snatches victory from the jaws of defeat in the second legs, getting Chelsea's away win tonight spot-on, after drawing blanks in all of the remaining 7 second leg matches. MrHappy2, despite four outcomes out of eight in the second legs, misses out on 6pts.

The closest group of the Round of 16, and BFG shades it with 11pts courtesy of last night's spot-on for the Atletico Madrid 1-0 win at Old Trafford, and Chelsea's away win tonight at Lille. However, with 11pts and two spot-ons each for Lewis_1 and TheFatGooner, they both finish just one point behind on 10pts, and go into a tie-break to qualify.
Tie-break
With no Covid attendance restrictions in place Lewis_1 and TheFatGooner must predict the attendance at the next U's game, which as luck would have it is the televised game against FGR next Monday (21st March). Closest to the correct recorded attendance (above or below) will win, and obviously you can't predict the same attendance as your opponent.
This might be problematic, because we all know many have bought tickets who won't be there (myself included), so I will have to go with whatever the recorded attendance is according to the BBC Sport report post-match.
