"Another change to come out of the league's AGM is that clubs will now be able to wear a second or third kit at home to avoid any difficulties for colour-blind spectators or viewers watching the game on TV.
One example is of teams wearing red and green, in which case the ideal scenario would see the home side able to swap to their away strip or third kit.
The statement added: "A home club will now be able to wear its ‘away’ or third kit where a clash may occur that would make it difficult for people who are colour blind to differentiate between the kits worn by both teams." |  | | |

While agreeing that clubs should do as much as possible to ensure problems don’t arise for fans, this comes down to the kits chosen initially being suitable to ensure such clashes do not occur.
All clubs have three kits so produce guidance to ensure that the colours chosen are suitably different to avoid any such situations occurring. eg. Insist one kit is yellow/white/a light colour, saying teams who wear red at home can’t have a green away strip. It would also make kit manufacturers put some more thought into it.
The worry is this will see clubs using whatever kits they see fit at home. Not that we’ve ever done that… [Post edited 10 Jun 2022 19:00]

In NHL each team has a predominantly white shirt, a predominantly coloured shirt, usually of the same design , and a third shirt. They have changed the policy over the years, but it used to be the home team wore predominanty white with coloured for away games and the third strip used occasionally. There were never any colour clashes. | | | |

Noticed that share issue was discussed at the EFL AGM, about the EFL being able to refuse shares holdings that have not been registered with club directors , wonder if this has anything to do with our situation last year | | | |
