I haven't seen them. Labour are definitely not as left as in years gone by. Thing is, shouldn't policy be what is right and good and best for the country no matter if it's considered left or right?
I'm not really a fan of this broad based party system either. The tories get in and deconstruct what Labour did, then Labour get in na drepeat that in reverse. Our governments spend too much time tearing stuff down and not enough time building up.
Here's a radical thought, what if we abolished party's and said every MP was an independent who, when elections came around had to stand soleley on what they believed in, What if the PM had to be an MP, At a GE anybody standing for MP had to declare if they wanted to stand for PM too. After the GE the MP's chose a new PM with a 4 week limit and they do it along the lines of the current party voting system. You need to gain other MP's support and there are votes until the last person standing becomes PM who then has a week to choose their Cabinet. The previous PM and Cabinet stay in place until the process is done. Then every vote in Parliament is a free vote, no whips.
If we did away with Labour and Tory and all the other party's, did away with all the childish bickering, could things improve?
Was only saying it as a bit of a joke about you being called Tory for not linking Labour.
But being more socialist i don't think i could vote for Labour currently, they are starting to shift a bit too far to the centre right on policy.
Id rather no parties to be fair, just having MPs vote on what they genuinely believe is best for their constituents and country.

Do you really think any of this would have happened without Maidan and the persecution and marginalisation of ethnic Russians in Donbas and places like Odessa? No it wouldn’t have.
The international community brought the two self declared republics and Ukraine together signed the Minsk agreements that would have guaranteed Ukrainian territorial integrity - were broken by the Ukrainians themselves who ignored them and kept shelling the Donbas.
You still seem to be living in the Cold War like several others on this thread. You think that Russia is the Communist Soviet Union when they simply aren’t. You fear Russia because you’ve been programmed to.

Because this country sees Ukrainian flags as a token of support which tends to suggest they are not keen on Russia committing war crimes and looking to starve Africa ,if they can ,as well as cutting off gas supplies . Well if you thought the Nazi`s were bad enough have a read of the book Barbarossa by Jonathan Trigg for just one example on what a disgusting type of race and people the Russians are, it is a shame Hitler fcucked everything up and did not leave matters to his generals when they were on the brink of beating Russia as the Americans would have soon beaten the Germans soon after and then liberated the Soviet union but would no doubt have put measures in to keep them suppressed and not allowing them from ever becoming a superpower.

You have no grasp whatsoever of History. Yes, Hitler messed up and maybe could have defeated the red army, but history shows he didn't.
The US could never have defeated a full strength Germany. Whenever the Germans and allies clashed in equal numbers, the Germans always prevailed. German troops were better trained, better motivated, more resilient and tougher.
The Allies faced far lesser German forces in the west than the Russians did in the east.It was the red army that did most of the damage, and they suffered most because of it.
What the NAZIs did in Russia was far far worse than anything the Red army did in Germany - although, they weren't exactly saints.
Hitler had plans to starve to death 13 million Russians with his planes for lebensraum.
