Yep, almost as if some planning and thought had been put into this.
Conspiracy theory 101, but just imagine. Robbie gives Matty the job after an impressive spell as caretaker, but knowing if he doesn't get us safe from relegation he has the insurance of going in for the Cowley's first thing in the New Year without having to cover their payback clause. |

So all the rumours in earlier times they didn't 'get on' totally untrue.
Did see DC and NC talked about managing Volchester one day as club was full of good people.
Also they appear to know Dimitri from earlier times.

It was interesting to hear them say how they'd been chasing Hopper during their previous spell(s) in management. I like Hopper - there, I've said it - I like what he brings off the bench. He's an intelligent footballer and, like Jay, I don't think we've seen anywhere near their potential. I think it's safe to assume they're not going to try and fit him into our current playing style, they're going to change the playing style. But it'll take time, and we're just going to have to be patient... |  |
