BBC are currently forecasting rain for 12 of the next 14 days and then it will be ‘April showers’.
If there are serious problems with the drainage, it might not necessarily be a quick job to resolve. It could be something that requires weeks of construction work. Even worse, if it involves third party land or it is a dispute with the landlord, it could involve litigation which could take until the twelfth of never.
With regards to a super sopper, if you start collecting 20 cubic metres of water every hour, but the drainage system around the stadium in not working, where do you put the water?
I suppose what I’m saying is that if there was an easy answer, the club would have found it by now.
