Is it possible for your club to get to double figures, or is that rather unlikely?

well, I don't think you want to end up with less points than Derby got with their 11 points total.

I'm sure you'll get a bit more than 11 though.

Big games coming up
H Chesea
A Villa
H Spurs
A Fulham
H West ham
A Palace
H Brentford

Big game with West Ham I reckon

Was it an inset day at school today?

Well, you did achieve a double last season, but it was two league wins and not certainly not ten.

A very embarassing season for your club, one that will be remembered for the next decade and more.

Maybe next season will bring more luck?

You've got to be in it to win it.
15 years and counting since you were in the Prem.
How very embarrassing for a club of your 'supposed' size.

.....and talking of decades, where was your club 10 years ago ?
Oh yes, finishing in an even more embarrassing 84th position.

Oh I dunno.

I would say even more embarrassing is finishing many years below your neighbours, taking 10 years to get out of a pub league , playing in a shed, your fans smashing your own city up and punching police horses, having to train amongst dog Shyte at Eastleigh’s training ground because that’s all you had, robbing charities and having a pissed up clown as your figurehead.

😃😏

Bet you'd swap your mundane existence for a bit of that and an elusive trophy?

Not that I'd call getting the record losses in a season mundane. That was quite a feat.

He wanted to play in a higher league, just like some of your players next season who may join Bournemouth, Burnley or similar in the close season.

Obvs they won't be joining Brentford as they have a really good training centre and produce loads of good nippers already.

Why is seeing 5 cup finals and seeing us finish runners up top league and win the FA cup mundane ? . You’ve only seen Mickey Mouse cups and one FA cup. . I’ve also seen Europe several times how’s that mundane. ? Being interviewed outside the San Siro was pretty good too. You’ve seen nothing like that and never will. Go and read your history book that’s all you’ve got. I’ve got memories.

You are weird.

Yep .... In it to win that double you mentioned.

When was your last "double" in the Prem ?
It was way back in March 2010

Being out of the Prem and even the Championship for so long, is the reason why so many of your city's 10 to 20 year olds now support teams like Chelsea, Arsenal, Liverpool and the Manchester clubs. Pompey are their 2nd team. Fact.

We sold Jayden Meghoma to Brentford last summer for 5mill . A youth player that couldnt get a look in at Saints.

When did you last sell a player for 5mill? It must hurt that our youth players sells for twice the money that a big club like Wigan would pay for your star striker.

Was he the last of the talent in the academy? a good 17 year old prospect.

Brentford really is a good training centre these days, and he was from Slough, so they prob paid a bit more than he was worth

This is tragic, a 17 year old that couldnt make it at saints, is the equivalent of your 10th highest sale of all time. 15 years since you had a player worth 5mill. That is sad...........

Just think, if Pompey hadnt cheated all those years ago, the club would never have been involved in a transfer fee over £5mill.
